Life lately at The Zen Project ✨

We may have been posting a little less lately… but behind the scenes, we’re very much out there spreading the magic and the zen, as always. 💛

And we’ve been ALL over.

From running sound baths with Ministry of Clean for Waitrose buyers, to bringing the Zen Bus to The Great Exhibition Road Festival, creating pop-up wellbeing spaces for students, and getting out into communities — which, as ever, is where our heart really sings. 🚌✨

Sound healing, moments of calm, connection, conversations, community, big events, little moments… these are just a few of the highlights from life lately.

And we’re only getting started. September and October are looking BUSY, with lots more Zen heading out into the world — and we’ll share more soon.

One team. One dream. One big Zen family. 💛

We got you.

If you want to bring a little (or a LOT) more Zen to your community, workplace, university or event, reach out. We can pop up pretty much anywhere. ✌️

🚌 The Zen Bus is back on the road this September!

We’re proud of our ongoing partnership with Notting Hill Genesis, who’ve funded The Zen Project to bring free wellbeing support to communities for over 4 years now to both Woodberry Down, and Grahame Park.

Our micro wellbeing sessions are all about the small stuff that makes a big difference: easing anxiety, managing stress and offering a moment of calm in your day.

No experience needed, all completely free, and each session is just 20 minutes, jump on whenever suits you.

This month you can find the Zen Bus at two brilliant local events:

📍 Made in Grahame Park – Keeping it Local
🗓️ 10th September, 3–7pm | The Old Library, NW9 5XA
Organised by Colindale Communities Trust, this vibrant showcase celebrates local talent with dozens of community and craft stalls.

📍 Hidden River Festival
🗓️ 12th September, 12–5pm | Spring Park, Redmond Community Centre & Woodberry Wetlands
A free annual celebration of the New River’s heritage and Woodberry Down’s local culture, with live music, workshops, family activities and street food.

Come and say hello, take 20 minutes for yourself, and enjoy everything else these amazing community events have to offer!

✅ All activities are free
✅ Open to everyone
✅ No mindfulness experience needed

Thank you to Notting Hill Genesis for making this work possible. 💛

🏃‍♀️ GAMEZ 🤝 ZEN ☀️

On Friday we rolled the Zen Bus into Urban Gamez at Grahame Park, Colindale — an annual celebration of sport, community and connection that’s been bringing local children, young people and families together for years.

Amongst all the energy, activity and competition, we brought a little pocket of calm 💛

Our Zen Bus gave people a space to step away from the buzz, reset, breathe and experience some of what The Zen Project is all about — making wellbeing accessible, welcoming and part of everyday community life.

Because wellbeing doesn’t always need to happen in a studio, retreat or therapy room.

Sometimes it arrives on a bus. 🚌✌️

A brilliant day and a lovely community to be part of. Huge thanks to everyone behind Urban Gamez for having us. ⭐️⭐️

🚌 The Zen Bus is coming to Urban Gamez!

Friday 28th August, 12–5pm, we’re bringing the Zen Bus to Heybourne Park for free mindfulness sessions to help ease anxiety, manage stress and offer a moment of calm in your day.

Urban Gamez has been a free sport event on the Grahame Park Estate since 2010, helping local children, young people and families get active and connect with sport in their community. This year we’re adding a space to pause and breathe too, because wellbeing is just as much a part of getting active as the games themselves.

✅ All activities are free
✅ Open to everyone
✅ No mindfulness experience needed
✅ Sessions are just 20 minutes — pop in whenever suits you

📍 Heybourne Park, 1 Whitelea Place, London NW9 5YT

Come for the games, stay for the calm. See you there!

Opening Day. 💛

Yesterday the gates opened. After all of the planning, designing, building, lifting, painting, tweaking and problem-solving, it all changes.

The building stopped… and the holding began.

From the Tashi Lhunpo monks opening our Zen Stage, to peaceful spaces waiting to welcome anyone in need of a pause. From flowers being lovingly arranged, to our buses ready to become sanctuaries. Every detail has been created with intention, care and love.

Watching festival-goers wander in, settle into the spaces, breathe a little deeper and make them their own is why we do this.

Opening Day is always special. Now, we hold the space, and pray it all goes smoothly.

Our opening ceremony in the Peace Garden was blissful. 🤍🤍🤍
