🌟 Moments of Fun and Connection on the Dementia Floor! 🌟

Our residents have been enjoying plenty of laughter, movement and friendly competition this week. 💙

Led by Chloe from our Lifestyle Team and Sabreen, one of our lovely carers, we took part in a fun-filled game called Noodle Knights, where residents battled with pool noodles, helping to keep bodies moving and spirits high! ⚔️😄

We also enjoyed a lively game of Balloon Tennis, encouraging gentle exercise, hand-eye coordination and lots of smiles all around. 🎈🎾

It's wonderful to see everyone having fun, staying active and making special memories together.

What a beautiful milestone to celebrate! ❤️

Today at Bentley Grange Luxury Care Home, we had the pleasure of celebrating David and Ann's incredible 61st anniversary of being together. 💕

To mark this special occasion, we arranged a romantic lunch for two, filled with love, laughter, and precious memories. It was a joy to make their day extra special and celebrate a lifetime of companionship and devotion.

Here's to 61 wonderful years together and many more happy moments to cherish. 🥂✨

🍰☕ National Afternoon Tea Week at Bentley Grange ☕🍰

This week, residents on every floor were treated to a delightful afternoon tea as we celebrated National Afternoon Tea Week together. From freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream to delicious cakes, tarts and other sweet treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

With lovely music playing in the background and plenty of smiles, laughter and conversation shared along the way, it was a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together and create special moments.

A huge thank you to our fantastic Lifestyle Team and Hospitality Team, for all their hard work in making the week so memorable for our residents.💙

🌞🌿 A Lovely Day at Marston Millennium Park 🌿🌞

Today, some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Marston Millennium Park. We took a leisurely stroll along the beautiful nature trail, soaking up the fresh air, wildlife, and stunning scenery along the way.

After our walk, we relaxed together in the sunshine with a selection of teas, coffees, cool refreshments, and delicious cakes. ☕🍰🌳

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and lovely conversations shared throughout the afternoon, making it a truly enjoyable day for everyone who joined us.

At Bentley Grange, we love creating opportunities for our residents to get out and about, connect with nature, and make special memories together. 💚

👑🎩 Royal Gentlemen’s Afternoon at Bentley Grange 🎩👑
What a lovely afternoon we had celebrating Father’s Day and The King’s Birthday! Our residents and families enjoyed a beautifully arranged afternoon tea prepared by our talented Chef and Hospitality Team. We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Colin Charles, who had everyone singing along, clapping, dancing and smiling throughout the afternoon.

The celebrations continued with personalised Father’s Day chocolates for our gentlemen residents and lots of fun in our royal-themed photo booth, complete with crowns, props and plenty of laughter!

A huge thank you to our amazing Lifestyle Team, Hospitality Team, and Colin Charles for helping to make the day so special and memorable for everyone involved. 💙👑

What a truly beautiful day of relaxation, movement, and wellbeing we shared with our wonderful residents 💚
We were delighted to welcome Yanni, who created a calming atmosphere with his soothing sound bowl session, offering residents a moment of peace and mindfulness. 🧘‍♀️
Our hospitality team added a refreshing touch, serving a lovely selection of kombucha and healthy choices, which were thoroughly enjoyed 🍹
A special thank you to Nadia and the Mobility Physio team for leading a gentle and uplifting Tai Chi session, helping everyone feel relaxed and energised. 🌿
We were also pleased to have Kaleigh from Headway Bedford hosting a talk table, sharing valuable information and handing out leaflets for residents and visitors.

We were delighted to welcome Anaya, who came to us from a local school with a wonderful idea and an even bigger heart. Anaya partnered with Bentley Grange to help support the Bedford Food Bank, bringing together a generous collection of food donations.

It was truly uplifting to see such kindness and community spirit, and Anaya’s enthusiasm brought plenty of smiles along the way. Her thoughtful efforts reminded us all just how important it is to look out for one another, and how even small actions can make a big difference.

The donations will go a long way in supporting local people and families who need a little extra help, and we are incredibly proud to have played a part in this lovely initiative.

A huge well done and heartfelt thank you to Anaya for choosing to work alongside Bentley Grange and for spreading such positivity within our community.

We were delighted to welcome the Biddenham Bell Ringers to Bentley Grange, who came in to perform for our residents. It was a truly enjoyable afternoon filled with smiles, music, and great company.

Our residents were very happy and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home. After the performance, the bell ringers took time to chat with residents, which made the experience even more special and personal.

A big thank you to the Biddenham Bell Ringers for making the afternoon so memorable - we look forward to welcoming you back again soon!

A lovely sunny outing for the people who live with us at Bentley Grange ☀️

We had a fantastic time at the Brew Point Bedford, enjoying teas, coffees, great chats and some cricket on TV 🏏The people who live with us really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and spending time together.

A perfect afternoon with smiles all around!

We headed to Priory Marina for a peaceful spring walk, More...Fresh Air, and the sunshine made it even more beautiful. 🌼☀️

The fresh March air, calm water, and lovely scenery gave us the perfect chance to relax and enjoy the start of spring together.
After our stroll, we treated ourselves to tea and cake at the café, with a gorgeous view overlooking the lake. 🍰☕ Watching the water while we enjoyed our treats made the afternoon feel extra special.

A lovely outing filled with fresh air, good company, and lots of smiles!
