We have begun contacting some patients by text message as part of work on a new Patient Engagement Portal (PEP) that will improve the way the Trust communicates with patients.

The Trust is working collaboratively with our supplier DrDoctor to send text messages to patients to keep them updated with essential information and notify them if an appointment they are on the waiting list for becomes available. Patients will then be able to book available appointment times in certain clinics via the link provided in the message.

Parent to parent group this Friday 3rd July 10 - 11.30am

This will be our last ever group at the Community Centre, we are still running under FACES, and we are working hard to find a new venue for September 2026.

If you know of any potential, suitable venues, in Bedford, that are low cost (or free 😏) that are easy to get to (and find) with preferably free parking (we don't want much), please do let us know by either sending us a message, commenting below, or emailing stacey on, [email protected].

We will of course keep you all updated once we have a venue with dates and times confirmed.

So, please come and join us on Friday for a special session, where we say farewell to the room that we launched our first ever pilot sessions from 8 years ago, where you have shared your wins, your tears, laughter, friendships formed, shown compassion for each other, shared your knowledge and shown true inclusivity 🥰

We will still be the same wherever we go, the same ridiculous SEND comedy duo we seemed to have become 😂 and of course, you... the mums, dads, grandparents, who make the group as special as it is 🙌

And there will be cake, there better be cake - gluten free cake & a balloon 😏😂
