Comment “TONE” for the retained reflexes impacting a child’s muscle tone that can delay motor development and areas of learning in the classroom.
If a child has floppy muscle tone or struggles with age-appropriate activities that require gross motor skills, they may have one or more retained reflexes.
A child with poor muscle tone may have trouble with the following:
💪Slouching or difficulty sitting upright
💪Frequent leaning on desks or adults
💪Poor balance
💪Difficulty running, jumping, hopping, or climbing
Kids with low muscle tone may have trouble paying attention in school and appear to have ADHD-like symptoms. Many times, these kids have to work harder in school because learning and movement doesn’t come naturally.
For all the retained reflexes that could be connected to poor muscle tone, comment “TONE” and we’ll send you the link.
