Milton Ernest Hall Care Home Part of the Imperial Care Group of care homes. The home provides personal and nursing care on a long term, convalescent and short stay basis.

Milton Ernest Hall was built in 1856 and is the only country house designed and built by the noted architect Sir William Butterfield. An impressive Grade I Listed former Home to the Starey family, it is now beautifully refurbished to retain its character. As well as many years as a private residence, the house has been a base for US Armed forces during World War II and a country house hotel. The H

all stands in sixteen acres of landscaped grounds within the picturesque village of Milton Ernest, five miles north of Bedford, eight miles from Rushden and about an hour from London. Despite its village setting, Milton Ernest Hall is accessible, with convenient access to the A6 trunk road with public transport links. Extremely spacious en-suite bedrooms, suites and companion room, all fully furnished and tastefully decorated to a high standard. All rooms have private direct-dial telephones, electric profiling beds, television points, a lockable facility for valuables, a nurse call alarm and smoke detectors. Twenty-four hour cover is provided by a qualified, experienced and committed care team specifically recruited for their sensitivity, dedication and professional expertise in this area of care. All specialist equipment is available. All Majesticare’s homes put residents’ choices first, and at Milton Ernest Hall you are free to eat your meals in dining rooms or in your own room. Happy to provide meals for visitors as well for a nominal charge. Fresh home-cooked food is nutritionally balanced and caters for special requirements such as vegetarian or soft foods.

🌿✨ From Peaceful Escapes to Bingo Cheers! 🎉
What a lovely day of imagination, relaxation and a little bit of friendly competition! 💚

Our morning began with a guided relaxation and meditation, taking us on a magical imaginary journey through the woods 🌳, swimming by a beautiful waterfall 💦 and wandering through a colourful meadow 🌸. Our adventure eventually led us to a cosy cottage, where we sat down for a cuppa and, of course, a rather delicious slice of chocolate cake with icing! 🍰☕️😋

Then it was time to swap our peaceful minds for our Bingo faces! 😄🎱 The living room was filled with excitement as the numbers were called, and congratulations go to Jackie, Peter and June, our lucky winners! 🏆 They each took home a prize of beer and mint sweets — a winning combination! 🍺🍬
From imaginary adventures to bingo victories, it’s often the simple moments, shared laughter and little treats that make a day extra special. ❤️✨

Yesterday, our residents Milton Ernest Hall Care Home enjoyed another incredible Virtual Reality adventure with the wonderful Darren from Escape2VR and what an amazing journey it was!

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of “wow” moments as everyone explored places and experiences they had always dreamed of.

Geoff stepped aboard the legendary Flying Scotsman, enjoying the sights and sounds of this iconic steam train.

June stood proudly alongside the Royal Guards, taking in all the grandeur and tradition.

Jane was transported to the dazzling world of Strictly Come Dancing, where the glamour and excitement had everyone tapping their feet.

Jackie drifted through the beautiful canals of Venice on a peaceful gondola ride before taking a heartwarming virtual visit to her childhood home, bringing back many treasured memories.

Evelyn had a magical underwater adventure, swimming alongside playful dolphins and graceful turtles.

Derrick explored the stunning gardens of EPCOT, surrounded by breathtaking flowers and beautiful landscapes.

A huge thank you to Darren from Escape2VR for once again creating such meaningful experiences. Virtual Reality is so much more than entertainment it sparks memories, encourages conversation, inspires adventure, and allows our residents to explore the world from the comfort of home.

Today our home Milton Ernest Hall Care Home was filled with colour, creativity, and beautiful blooms during our flower arranging session. 🌸🌿

Everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite flowers and carefully arranging each stem to create their own unique displays. It was lovely to see so much focus, creativity, and joy.

The smiles as everyone admired their finished arrangements said it all.

A lovely afternoon spent together, celebrating nature, friendship, and the simple joy flowers bring. 💐❤️

What a wonderful morning we shared at Priory Country Park! 🌿🦆💚

There’s something so special about spending time in nature together. We enjoyed a gentle stroll around the beautiful lake, watched the ducks gliding across the water, and took in the peaceful surroundings.

After our walk, we treated ourselves to a lovely cup of tea and a delicious slice of cake. The best part, as always, was sitting together, sharing stories, laughter, smiles, and a good old natter.

These simple moments of friendship, fresh air, and togetherness create the happiest memories. 🌞

Nothing brings people together quite like a karaoke afternoon! 🎤🎶

At Milton Ernest Hall Care Home , we turned up the music and sang our hearts out to some of ABBA’s greatest hits. From Dancing Queen to Mamma Mia, there were smiles, laughter, plenty of singing along, and even a few dance moves!

Music has a wonderful way of bringing back cherished memories, lifting spirits, and creating joyful moments together. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and we can’t wait for our next karaoke

Our trip to Shuttleworth yesterday was a wonderful one filled with smiles, fresh air, and great company. ✈️☀️

We enjoyed exploring the incredible collection of historic aircraft, taking in the fascinating displays and sharing stories along the way. Afterwards, we sat down together for a lovely lunch, enjoying plenty of laughter, conversation, and the beautiful weather.

It’s days like these that create special memories and remind us how important it is to spend quality time together, making the most of every moment.
