On Sunday, we gathered in circle to birth drums — and in truth, something far deeper was born too.

Held in the quiet promise of Imbolc, this threshold moment between winter and spring, we worked under the watchful presence of Brigid — guardian of fire, craft, poetry, and new beginnings.

Hands softened rawhide, threads were pulled with intention, stories were shared, silence was honoured. Each drum emerged slowly, shaped not just by technique but by patience, presence, and prayer. This was craft as devotion — hands remembering what they already knew.

There were moments of doubt, tears and laughter, moments where time seemed to dissolve entirely. We listened to the hides, to the frames, to one another. We learned that birthing is rarely neat or predictable — it asks us to trust the process, to stay with what feels uncomfortable, and to keep showing up with care.
As the drums took form, so did something within each woman: a remembering.
Of rhythm.
Of intuition.
Of the small, steady flame that Brigid tends — the one that keeps burning even in the dark months.

These drums now carry more than sound.
They carry the warmth of the fire, the blessing of Imbolc, the holding of the circle, the breath of the deer, the strength of rose, ash and oak, the quiet power of hands working together. They will continue to tighten, settle, and find their voice in their own time — just as we do.
A day of devotion, craft, and deep listening.

A blessing for what is stirring, not yet fully formed, but already alive.

And so it is.

There is a moment in spring
when the land exhales
and something ancient stirs beneath the soil.
This gathering is for the women
who feel that stirring within themselves.

Garden Awakening is a gentle, soulful return —
a pause at the threshold of the Spring Equinox
to listen for what is ready to rise,
and what is ready to be alchemised into soil.

We will gather as women have always gathered:
🌿 in circle
🌿 in wild creativity and ritual
🌿 in connection with the land and the body supported with feminine somatic practices.

Together, we will:

Honour the womb space as an energetic centre of creation, intuition, memory, and power in wrapping womb ritual

Awaken the body as a living landscape through meditation

Immerse the body into the creation of a living mandala — a sacred pattern of breath, memory, rhythm, and sensation — constantly forming and dissolving in response to life.

Honour the season of emergence through art and unapologetic whole body expression

Plant seeds — both literal and symbolic — for the months ahead.

Be witnessed without fixing or performing

This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering who you were before you went dormant.

Come if you feel tired of pushing.
Come if something in you is quietly blooming.
Come if you are ready to tend your inner garden
with patience, playful curiosity, and childlike wonder
Come to connect with your body and explore your souls expression without words

✨ No art experience is needed
✨ All materials provided
✨ Just bring yourself exactly as you are

Light meal & seasonal bakes, elixir, and homegrown tea included.

Spring is arriving.
And you are invited to awaken with it.

Spaces are limited to 8.

The exchange is £80.

Stay wild,

🌱

I have been in quiet reflection as I gently approach the threshold of a new year.

Courage in times of change is not the roar of certainty.
It is the steady breath taken when the ground shifts beneath your feet, in the face of not knowing what will remain.

It is choosing to stay present when what was familiar dissolves,
trusting that something true is being reshaped, even if you are unsure of what it is or don't yet know its name.

Courage does not demand that you feel ready.
It asks only that you remain honest, soft, and willing to move with life
rather than harden against it.

Change is not here to punish us -
it is here to invite you into a deeper alignment with who you are becoming.

And every time you meet it with curiosity instead of fear,
you prove that your heart is stronger than the unknown.

Go gently beautiful ones,

Always love,

Amy

I'm seven days post surgery, and it's been ALOT. When a mama bear is out of action, the weight is felt all around.

This morning, I was blessed to be outside with the sunrise and my little boy on this beautiful earth, soaking up the beautiful sounds of the morning birdsong, smelling the earthy moss in my hands and witnessing the joy of my little boy as his curiosity sparked squeals of joy.

My heart is full of gratitude for these simple moments.

And breathe.

I hope there is joy in your day and that you follow a pace that honours your own heart in the days ahead.

Love always,

Amy

A drum is born:

She came into the world on a breath of deeply rooted intention,
a shamanic drum born from my palms,
as much as from this earth and spirit
From love and labour, she is here.

Cradled in a hoop of willow — flexible, yet unbreakable —
she mirrors the quiet resilience that has carried me this far.
Her goat-skin stretches like the story of my own becoming:
sure-footed, steady, learning to climb every rise
with grace carved from challenge.

Rosemary stood beside us as an ancient ally —
a plant of remembrance, clarity, and protection —
its scent weaving through the birthing
a whispered blessing.
It guided my hands,
and reminded my heart
that I am both the maker and the one being remade.

In her voice, I hear the mountains I’ve crossed.
In her heartbeat, the strength I forgot I had.
She is a reflection of my journey —
rooted, courageous, and humbled.

And now she is ready to sing with me,
to echo the resilience that shaped her,
and to guide the path ahead.

She was birthed with my dear daughter Eadie, who is keen to learn this craft. Her gentleness, curiosity, wonder, and playfulness is woven into her making.

It was such a joyous and tender moment to cut her final cord.

Her handle is a gift of Sxottish quartz. Scottish quartz is a stone of clear perception. Born in a land of mists, mountains, and shifting weather, it symbolises the ability to see through confusion and return to inner truth.

And so it is 🙏✨️🥁

It is a profound honour and privilege to hold women in the sacred rite of Closing the Bones. To witness a woman soften back into herself, to feel her body exhale the unspoken stories it has carried, is a gift beyond measure.

This ceremony is a remembering—of worthiness, of belonging, of the innate wisdom held in her bones and womb. I do not take lightly the trust placed in my hands, nor the lineage of women who have tended one another in this way for generations. Each time I wrap the cloth and cradle the body, I am humbled by the courage it takes to be seen, to be held, and to return home to oneself.

I am now taking bookings for 2026. If you would like more information or to find out more, pop me a message.

And so it is.

MEDICINE DRUM BIRTHING

You are warmly invited to join me for a deeply creative and healing experience — crafting your own medicine drum.
Gently guided step by step, you’ll work with natural materials to shape a drum that is uniquely yours.

Each step, from soaking the hide to lacing the frame, is honoured through ritual — an offering of your intention, infused with your essence, breath, prayer, and ancestral wisdom.

You are guided by instinct and reverence as you weave your story into the fibres of the drum. The wood holds the strength of the tree; the hide carries the heartbeat of the animal; together, they birth a vessel of sound that echoes your own inner rhythm.

When the final beat resounds, it is not just heard — it is felt.

The drum becomes a spiritual companion, your ally in healing, ceremony, and expression — a mirror of your soul’s song and a reminder that all of life moves to a sacred pulse.

This is a sacred day of deep connection, creation, and transformation. This isn't just a workshop-it is a sacred right of passage. A rebirth as we slowly begin to emerge from the winter stillness.

Somewhere within, your heartbeat remembers the rhythm of the drum — steady, alive, true.
Come meet the one that’s waiting to be born through you.

1:1 personalised drum birthing days available by request.

DM me to book your space and for further information.

2 spaces remaining.

All the drum love,

Amy 🥁🌿🔥✨️🌀

Follow the beat of your drum 🥁

There is a wild wisdom in your rhythm — the steady pulse that’s always been there beneath the noise of the world.

When you listen closely, when you let your hands meet the drum or your feet dance the earth, something begins to stir. A truth, a courage, a wild joy that has always belonged to you. You remember who you are.

Your drumbeat is your truth.

Follow it, even when no one else can hear the music, your soul can.

Blessed are the women who drum 🙏✨️

To the beautyfilled women of our circle,

Thank you for your courage.
For daring to sit in truth when the world tells us to stay quiet.
For choosing connection in the face of those ecourage blame,
For meeting hate with heart and division with depth.

Last night, we didn’t bypass the discomfort — we felt it.
We faced the noise of a divided world and chose to listen instead of shout, to witness instead of wound.
That takes great courage and grace.

In times like these, gathering as women is an act of quiet rebellion.
To hold one another when the world is splitting apart — that’s radical love.
And that’s the medicine we need more than ever.

Thank you for showing up raw, real, and ready to create something different.
Our circle isn’t just healing — it’s resistance with heart.

In solidarity, in sisterhood, in truth.

🙏
