E-CONSULT NOTICE - WEDNESDAY 1ST JULY.

Dear Patients,

Due to clinical staff shortages next week and our inability to secure locum cover, eConsult will be unavailable on Wednesday 1st July.

During this time, we will only be able to respond to urgent medical matters. We kindly ask that any routine enquiries are postponed until the service resumes on Thursday 2nd July.

We appreciate your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be assured that we are continuing to make every effort to secure additional clinical cover during this period.

Community pharmacists can answer questions on choosing the right medicines, and the Pharmacy First service can provide free advice and/or treatment for many common ailments.

Please remember to check your medication in plenty of time, allowing a full 7 working days for your prescription to be processed and collected before each of the above public holiday dates. Short-notice medication requests cannot always be guaranteed.

PAIN EDUCATION SESSIONS

Pain Concern in partnership with the NHS Ayrshire & Arran Pain Management Service are hosting free in-person Pain Education sessions at Ardrossan Library.

These are free two-hour group sessions designed to help anyone experiencing chronic pain (12 week or more) better understand and manage their condition.

KEY DETAILS :

WHEN: The last Thursday of every month.
TIME: 10:30AM to 12:30PM
WHERE: Ardrossan Library, 37-39 Princes Street, Ardrossan,
KA22 8BG.
COST: Completely free.

Topics Covered

The sessions provide a mix of education and group discussion (with peer support) exploring how to manage:

* Understanding what pain is
* Managing daily activities
* Stress and anxiety management
* Sleep
* Managing flare-ups

Protected Learning Time Notice

GP Practices in Ayrshire & Arran are carrying out whole practice team training to support their commitment to giving patients the best possible care.

The practice will be closed from 1pm on the following dates for team training:

* Wednesday 17th June 2026
* Tuesday 25th August 2026
* Thursday 26th November 2026

If you require urgent medical assistance during any of these afternoon closures, please contact the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930. They will be able to provide support and advice to patients while the practice is closed.
