๐ŸŒฑ A Wonderful Afternoon of Gardening and Growing! ๐ŸŒฑ

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Windowsill Grow Your Own: Gardening Workshop at the Macmillan Support and Information Centre.

We enjoyed an afternoon of planting, sharing experiences, and learning practical tips for growing herbs and vegetables at home. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and to have the opportunity to connect with others while exploring the benefits of gardening for wellbeing.

A special thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the workshop such a success - A huge thank you to Derek our Volunteer Gardener for all his wonderful knowledge & especially for his time!

Keep an eye on our social media channels for details of upcoming events and workshops.

๐Ÿ“ข Have you experienced cancer care and are aged 13โ€“25?

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Service is looking for young people from across Northern Ireland to join our AYA Cancer User Forum and help shape the future of cancer services for adolescents and young adults.

We're looking for people who want to share their experiences and perspectives to help improve care and support for others. As a member of the forum, you'll have the opportunity to:

โœ… Share your experiences of cancer care
โœ… Help influence service improvements
โœ… Review information and resources
โœ… Work alongside healthcare professionals
โœ… Ensure young people's voices are heard

Whether you're currently receiving treatment, attending follow-up appointments, or have completed treatment, your views and experiences can make a real difference.

The forum meets approximately four times a year, with options to take part either online or in person. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every voice matters.

๐Ÿ“ง If you have any questions, please contact Angela Walsh at [email protected]

โžก๏ธ Apply today: https://bit.ly/AYAUserForum

Please share this post to help us reach young people who may be interested in getting involved.
