What a fantastic time we've been having at the Mencap Centre this summer!

The centre has been buzzing with laughter, fun, and even the odd magic trick! ✨

We've enjoyed plenty of dancing and singing, met some amazing animals, been amazed by a magic show, and had so much fun at our bubble workshop.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these activities so special.

Our Out & About Summer Scheme had an amazing time at Lorne Estate!

We put our aim to the test with archery, got stuck into some awesome bushcraft, and finished off by making (and eating!) our very own s'mores over the fire πŸ”₯🍫.

There were lots of laughs, new skills, sticky fingers, and happy faces all round! πŸ˜„

Day 2 of our Out & About Summer Scheme was full of fun at W5! 🀩

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and hands-on adventures throughout the day.
Another fantastic day making summer memories! β˜€οΈ

Mencap NI wants to hear from you! πŸ“£

Next year the Northern Ireland elections are taking place for parliament and local councils. πŸ—³οΈ

Mencap NI wants to make sure that people with a learning disability have all the information they need to take part and vote in next year’s elections.

We also want to make sure that political parties will include issues facing people with a learning disability in their manifestos. πŸ“

To do this, we want to hear from people with a learning disability across Northern Ireland to find out what their experiences voting have been like.

So we have created a short online survey for people with a learning disability and their families to tell us their thoughts.

To share your thoughts complete the survey before Monday 17th August at the link below! πŸ‘‡
