Do you feel hunger in your belly... or in your brain?
For many people, hunger doesn't show up as a rumbling tummy. Instead, it looks like:
➡️ Low energy
➡️ Irritability
➡️ Sugar cravings
➡️ Constant thoughts about food
This is often linked to the balance of two key hormones: ghrelin (your hunger hormone) and leptin (your fullness hormone).
When these hormones are working well together, you feel satisfied after meals, have steadier energy, and experience less "food noise". But years of dieting, frequent snacking, poor sleep, stress, and ultra-processed foods can disrupt these signals, making it harder to recognise true hunger and fullness.
The good news? Small changes can help reset the balance:
✅ Start your day with a protein-rich breakfast
✅ Eat 3 balanced meals and reduce snacking
✅ Leave 4–5 hours between meals where possible
✅ Stop eating around 3 hours before bed
✅ Choose fibre-rich carbohydrates
✅ Move your body every day, especially after meals
This isn't about restriction or starving yourself. It's about helping your body work the way it was designed to, so you feel fuller for longer, have more energy, and find weight management easier.
