Scott Gerard (Scotty), died peacefully at hospital 7th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family. A Devoted husband to the late Marian. A loving father to Angela, Gerard, Emma and Kevin. A loving grandfather, Much-loved brother, and friend, RIP. Gerard will arrive to 1 Hillhead Court on Friday (evening). Sunday after 7pm private to family only. A service will take place in Gerardโ€™s home on Monday 15th at 9.30am. Gerard will then leave his home for burial in City Cemetery. St. Pio pray for him. Deeply regretted by his loving family circle. Our first trip over to the National Funeral Exhibition today.

Itโ€™s always good to see whatโ€™s new, learn from others, and explore new technology that can help us better serve families every day.

And of course, it wouldnโ€™t have been a proper visit without stopping by the Golden Charter stand for a catch-up with Gemma, Chris and the team!

A great day, plenty of ideas, and looking forward to bringing a few of them back home.

Thomas (Spud) Murphy,

Breege Murphy, Tracy (Dolly), Bridgeen, and his baby Mary Jo, wish to sincerely thank everyone who supported them during the sad passing of Thomas.

We are deeply grateful to all who called to the family home, sent Mass cards, flowers, messages of sympathy, and offered their kindness and support during this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness and generosity brought great comfort to us all.

A special word of thanks to Father Benedict for such a beautiful, heartfelt, and emotional Funeral Mass, which was a fitting tribute to Thomas.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Mallon Brothers Funeral Directors for their tremendous help, support, care, and dignity throughout. From start to finish, your guidance and professionalism were exceptional, and we are truly grateful.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Acknowledgement & Monthโ€™s Mind Notice

The family of the late Felix Cush wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during the recent loss of our much-loved husband, dad, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

We are deeply grateful to all our family, friends, neighbours, and everyone who called at our home, sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy, brought food and supplies, sent flowers and gifts, kept us in your thoughts and prayers, and shared treasured memories of Felix. Your kindness, generosity, and support brought us enormous comfort during such a difficult time and will never be forgotten.

We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to Fr Martin Graham for the beautiful service, which made the day so special.

A sincere word of thanks to the doctors and nurses of 5F RVH, who cared for our Felix with such kindness, dignity, and compassion. Your care and support meant so much to him and to all of us.

Finally, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mallon Brothers Funeral Directors for the exceptional care and compassion shown to our family. Their professionalism, dignity, and support throughout every stage of the arrangements eased such a difficult burden, and we will always be grateful for their kindness and guidance.
