🚨 Rehabilitation Assistant Wanted 🚨

A great role for anyone wanting to gain experience in neuro or mental health rehab, or for someone with experience in the health and social care sector who is interested in a new challenge. Great pay and a fantastic team to work in. Please see the attached link for further details!

To provide rehabilitation assistance for people with an alcohol -related brain injury, promoting independence with all aspects of activities to do with daily living, including, personal, domestic, recreational and social tasks.

What a fantastic day in very sunny Birmingham celebrating the Occupational Therapy Excellence Awards. It was lovely to meet so many other OTs, all equally passionate about the amazing work that they do and the value OT services can bring. Also rather excited to be bringing home two awards with me! Threshold Services NI ARBI Unit won the awards for excellence in neuro and long term conditions. I’m so proud of the service we have created with such strong OT underpinning! The smile says it all! 🤩

Because my stroke happened outside 8am–5pm, thrombectomy wasn’t available. This is what having a stroke outside of these hours looks like. This is the lived experience of around 140 people in Northern Ireland every year.

A 24/7 service was promised by the end of 2024. More than 500 days later, it still hasn’t happened.

People in Northern Ireland continue every year to miss out on this life-saving treatment.

The Stroke Association is calling for urgent action.

📣 Classroom Assistants provide essential support to children and young people with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential.

We have now opened an EA wide regional recruitment scheme for SEN and ASEN Classroom Assistants.

Positions are available across Nursery, Primary, Post-Primary, Special School, Specialist Provision Classes, and EOTAS.
