Your feet tell the story of how your body feels ✨️

Often our minds tell us lies, this is self preservation and working on the feet can unfold these emotions to help break them down.

✨️ The throat - shame is held here. Unable to speak in groups / unable to tell our truth because we feel ashamed of a past event. This shame is NOT yours to carry. You did the best you knew how at the time and you can now let it go ❤

✨️ Fear in the belly - Possibly from PTSD/CPTSD. Your nervous system responded this way to protect you. Your brain is now wired to feel fear in situations due to previous experiences.... it is simply keeping you safe. However, right now, in this stillness you are safe. Reflexology can calm the nervous systems response.

✨️ Your heart - Maybe you have previously been heart broken and now you won't let anyone in or you cling onto unhealthy relationships.
Again this coping mechanism has been built to protect you, however healing your heart can allow you to love yourself in a way that others cant break you again. Bringing balance here can set you free 🫶

When you feel these emotions raise up, ask yourself...is my brain lying to me? Do I need to be afraid, ashamed or lonely right now or can I find a new way forward?

Of course rebuilding these emotions takes time... therapy, connection and self believe but you can absolutely do it! The brains told you these things in the kindest way possible, you've done the best you could with the tools you had... but let yourself live in your truth because you absolutely deserve to life the best life possible ❤
