Busy couple of weeks here at LHW between sick cars and sick babys but still working behind the scenes for ur motoring needs over the last week we have had the following

Hyundai Tuscan in for a full service and an mot check

Vauxhall meriva in for rear disks and pads and a replacement rear spring

Last night a customer contacted me to say there dash board was lit up like an Xmas tree and could I run a diagnostics on the little Peugeot it turned out to be a rear ABS sensor the customer left the car in this morning and collected it after there work new abs sensor replaced all fault codes cleared a quick test drive and then a rescan and everything was as good as new :)

Also some diagnostics on an Audi q7 which turned out to be a leaking high pressure power steering hose a trip to Audi and 350 quid later the part arrived followed by the air suspension having to be recalibrated as the car was lying up for a lot of weeks (my own car)

Get booked in today for a fraction of the price 😄

Unfortunately today due to weather conditions I had two move a few cars to Sunday as the weather turned out to be an absolute stinker but thanks to a customer this morning having shelter at his address we where able to chuck in a quick we oil and filter change for this returning customer :)

Back after being away on holiday for two weeks first up yesterday we had this quashqai in for an oil and filter change and we check over to make sure all is well ☺️

Note sometimes I forget to take pictures of the jobs I'm doing so not very job is posted up on the page when I returned from holidays we also had a C4 picasso in for a full service and also an Audi A1 for a diagnostic procedure followed by a dpf regeneration and was able to remove 45 grams of suit from the dpf

There always has to be one this customer contacted me as his camper van wouldn't start quick diagnostics and the can shaft sensor was knackered replacement ordered and installed and we taste of easy start and off we go

Out on the road today and first stop this was Newtownabey to replace a window regulator on an Audi A5 at a customers house while they where away on holiday as it snapped leaving the customer unable to put there window up.

Yesterday we had a returning customer in that had a fault with his electronic handbrake after a quick scan of the brake system with the latest diagnostic technology, it turned out to be a fault in the motor for the rear caliper, new caliper ordered and replaced within a few hours and full system brake bleed to replace the brake fluid, while we were there we threw in a new set of rear pads as they where pretty much down to the plates. Customer happy and on his way :)

First one of the week here at LHW Diagnostics a we Toyota Yaris in for a complete new rear axle as it snapped literally a few days after purchase with a FULL YEARS MOT apon stripping the axel out of the car the following pictures is what I was greated with, with more holes than the Titanic. I don't know if it was the examiners last day or Ray Charles was in lending a hand that day, anyways a mobile welder has been contacted and will carry out the repairs so we can get the axlel installed and the customer back on the road. Follow up pictures to come when work is complete

Not only do we source local for parts we can also search worldwide, a customers axel had snapped in there car and I had the job of sourcing a new one, I couldn't find a single decent one in the country that was not full of rust and rot, so the brain said sure have a look somewhere that doesn't get to much rain an mostly hot. I managed to track a good one down that was basically complete and pretty much ready to bolt on. Arriving tomorrow from sunny Portugal we have a complete rear end for a Toyota yaris 😂 install pictures to follow 😊
