The family circle of the late Annie (Nan) Evans, 50 Ballyscullion Road, Bellaghy would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.

Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, telephoned or donated in memory of Nan. A special word of thanks to The Evans family for their unfailing support and attention throughout this very difficult time.

Our gratitude and thanks to all involved with Nan’s care, especially the nursing and medical staff in Antrim Area Hospital and the Doctors and staff in Bellaghy Health Centre.

Special thanks to Rev John Martin for his words of comfort, conducting the funeral service and also providing the organ music.

Our thanks to Jacqueline Booth for providing and serving the lovely tea after the funeral and also the gravediggers John and Darren Spratt.

Finally, our sincere thanks to all at Hamilton’s Funeral Services for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation.

EVANS, July 18th 2026 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, Annie (Nan) late of 50 Ballyscullion Road, Bellaghy, beloved wife of the late Dave, much loved mother of Sharon, dear sister of Jim and Davey-George and the late Betty, Jackie and Maureen and stepmother to Angela, Davie, James, Jennifer and the late Clifford.

House strictly private.

All welcome at Hamilton's Funeral Home, Bellaghy, on Monday 20th from 7 pm - 8.30 pm.

Service of thanksgiving will take place in Bellaghy Presbyterian Church on Tuesday 21st at 2 pm. Interment afterwards in Ballyscullion Parish churchyard.

BLAIR, December 21st, 2025 (peacefully) at Brooklands Nursing Home, Magherafelt, Mary (May), late of 29 Leitrim Road, Castledawson, beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother of John and William, loving grandmother of Jonathan and wife Jodie, Helen and Jillian, great grandmother of Taylor, dear mother-in-law of Edith and Yvonne, sister of the late Annabelle, Doris and Violet and a dear friend of Bobby and Margaret Laverty.

Everyone welcome at her late home on Sunday from 6 pm - 10 pm and Monday from 11 am - 10 pm.

Funeral from her late residence on Tuesday (23rd) at 12 noon for burial in Ballyscullion Parish Churchyard, Bellaghy.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all the family circle.

The family of the late Jim Overend, 8 Main Street, Bellaghy would like to extend our deepest heartfelt thanks for the kindness and support shown to us during our recent sad bereavement and great loss.

Thank you to all who called at the family home, sent cards, telephoned and attended the wake and funeral. We would like to thank everyone who has kindly donated in Jim’s memory. A special thank you to all the medical staff for the care, kindness and attention given to Jim throughout his illness. Sincere thanks to Rev Rosie Diffin for conducting Jim’s funeral in the home, church and graveside. Thanks also to Alfie Crockett for playing the organ and Edith Blair and her team for providing and serving the teas after the funeral. Finally we would like to thank Hamilton’s Funeral Services for their care, guidance and compassion shown to us during this time and for carrying out the funeral in a dignified and professional manner.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deepest thanks and appreciation.

OVEREND, October 23rd 2025 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital after a long illness courageously borne, James (Jim) beloved husband of Karen, much loved father of Amanda, Sandra and James, dear father-in-law of Leah, proud grandfather of Max and Emmy and dearly loved brother of Pearl.

All welcome at the family home on Saturday (25th) and Sunday (26th) from 10 am to 10 pm.

Funeral from his late residence 8 Main Street, Bellaghy on Monday (27th) at 1 pm for service in Bellaghy Presbyterian Church (kindly granted) at 1.15 pm.

Burial afterwards in Ballyscullion Parish Churchyard.
