We love being part of such wonderful, local communities and yesterday’s session at Doodle & Moo’s Play Village in Belper was such a lovely celebration of that.

BEARS hosted a special session there to kick off the summer holidays and it was attended by lots of group regulars, who brought along their older children too, as well as new families that we were meeting for the first time.

It was a brilliant afternoon and such a lovely relaxed and supportive space for the parents, and for the babies and children.

As we start the summer holidays our groups will be looking a little different over the next 6 weeks..but don't worry we have some fun summer sessions planned..starting off tomorrow with Bears Doodle and moo takeover 😀

🐻 Tuesday 28th July at doodle and moo Belper 1.15-3pm ( Please note this session is fully booked so please let us know if you cannot make it as we have a waiting list) 🐻 friday 31st July at St Marks church belper 1-2.30. Here's one of our special summer events.. join us at Bolsover castle on the 6th August to celebrate world breastfeeding week
This was an amazing event last year and we're so happy to be apart of this with Breastfeeding Network Derbyshire again.

📣📣Celebrate World Breastfeeding Week with us at Bolsover Castle!

We're inviting families from across Derbyshire to come together for a relaxed family picnic and celebration of their breastfeeding journeys. Thanks to the generosity of English Heritage, everyone attending our event will receive FREE entry to Bolsover Castle. ⭐

🥪 Bring a picnic, a blanket or chair, and the whole family. We'll provide sweet treats, children's activities, great conversation, a kind listening ear, and the opportunity to celebrate your breastfeeding achievements.

If the weather is good, we'll meet near the wooden play area. If not, we'll move indoors to one of the castle's education rooms.

Babies not getting the memo for self care month 😆
Who can relate to this?!

I used to think babies ate when they were hungry.

Then I became a mom.

Turns out the menu includes breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, comfort, boredom, cuddles, emotional support, quality control, and "I just wanted to make sure you're still here."

And somehow... we still try to convince ourselves we're only sitting down for five minutes. 😂
