Well done to everyone that got to groups last week and for those that got caught in traffic situations, I look forward to seeing you back at group this week 😁😁😁

📣 A13 TARPOTS DUE TO BE FULLY REOPEN BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT 📣

A huge well done to Cadent and their contractors Forefront who have managed to finish their work on the A13 two weeks ahead of schedule! 👏

THE BENFLEET HIGH ROAD OF THE JUNCTION WILL STILL HAVE A LANE CLOSURE FROM RILEYS DOWN TO MARLEYS BUT TARPOTS JUNCTION WILL BE FULLY REOPEN FROM MIDDNIGHT TONIGHT.

I went to check on the works this morning and bring the workers some cold bottles of water and speak to the site manager and he had some very good news for me!

The works trenches are backfilled, set and painted. The road will be jet washed and they are planning to start packing away the traffic management tonight. I will check back in with them with evening to make sure they are on schedule to fully reopen by midnight and will keep residents updated.

This is truly excellent news!
