We’re excited to be trialling our new Early Years Calmology classes and are inviting volunteers to join us for a complimentary toddler session.

The session will be filmed for practitioner training and to support future promotion of the course, so participants must feel comfortable being recorded.

As a thank you, each parent or carer will receive an exclusive 50% discount to use at the Reflexology Hub.
This is a truly beautiful class, blending creativity, music, and movement to support your toddler’s development while deepening the connection you share with them.

I’m excited to introduce two new treatments 🧡

🌿 Ear Seeds & Reflexology – AVAILABLE TO BOOK NOW

A gentle, needle-free treatment combining reflexology with ear seeds. During your session, reflexology works to relax the body, release tension and support overall balance.
At the end of the treatment, ear seeds (small seeds or beads) are placed on specific points on the ear, which relate to different areas of the body. These stay in place for a few days, allowing you to gently stimulate them at home and continue the benefits between treatments.

Perfect for support with stress, anxiety, cravings, sleep and emotional wellbeing 🤍

👂Auricular Acupuncture & Reflexology – COMING SOON!

This treatment will combine ear acupuncture with reflexology to support the body on a deeper level. Fine needles are placed into specific ear points to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and restore balance, alongside reflexology to encourage relaxation and support the body’s natural healing processes.

Hi, I’m Kate, owner of the Reflexology Hub Berkhamsted and director of the School of Calmology.

My journey in complementary therapies began almost two decades ago. I was working and living in London while attending night school to qualify as a massage therapist. At that point, I knew that I wanted my future to be working in holistic well-being.

My passion for Identifying different methods to support one’s physical and mental health that weren’t just about prescriptions was growing. I came to realise that there was not one drug or one complementary or alternative therapy that provided an easy fix for anyone, but that what was needed was a more balanced & varied approach to healthcare. Our bodies are like jigsaw puzzles; sometimes, a few pieces are out of place or missing in action. By getting to know our bodies, we can determine their needs and the best way to nurture and maintain them.

Many years and lots of learning later, I have accumulated a wealth of experience and skills to support clients in a way that is 100% tailored to their needs.

I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to do this work 🧡🤎💛

It’s that time of year when anxiety levels start to rise as we prepare for a new season: back to school, back to work, new jobs, moving house, new adventures, renovations, clearing out the clutter. September always represents new beginnings for me, and with that usually comes change. For many of us, change can feel overwhelming and scary, but not shying away from change means we have new experiences that help us grow as individuals.

I haven’t posted on here for ages. Loads going on but I’ll be honest, posting on social media is at the bottom of my to do list.

So what’s been happening.. (if you’re at all interested 🤪)

*Created a new training school with the fabulous Emma Baxter . Super passionate about this and really looking forward to creating loads more course content. Training is my thing!

*Qualified as a Reiki Master (bloody love it).

*Wrote a beautiful new course with Emma, we hope to roll out in schools 🤞

*Treatment swapping with the wonderful Natasha .breathing.nest, doing this has saved my sanity when I’ve been snowed under with work and life ❤️

*Lots of beautiful clients, I’m very lucky!

* I have two children now at secondary school. Anyone who has teenagers, I see and salute you. I was a terrible teen, it’s karma, I’ve made my peace with it 🤣

*Discovered Grammarly, game changer.

*Garden is still a tip.

*Ironing coming out of my ears.

* House is a mess.
