What an incredible evening at Own Your Wellness, hosted by to raise money for Colostomy UK.

So much energy and connection in the room...it was a privilege to meet so many people and speak to them about how your gut health impacts every other part of your body.

Five other inspirational speakers also took to the floor to share their knowledge:

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came along to support this wonderful event! đź’›

Some of the most important conversations I have with my clients aren't just about diet, supplements and lifestyle. They're about making sense of life after a diagnosis.

This post highlights the things I hear again and again in clinic, and while everyone's journey is different, many people tell me they wish someone had prepared them for these parts.

If there's one thing I'd like you to take away from this post, it's that you don't have to have all the answers, and you don't have to navigate it alone.

If this post resonated with you, pass it on to someone else who might need to hear it 🤍

This is easily one of the questions I get asked most frequently.

Context is key with fructose - it's worth remembering that any isolated compound will behave very differently inside your body than when it's consumed in its whole food form.

What are the questions you have around food and cancer?

Drop them below and I'll answer 👇

This is what makes my job so worthwhile.

Working with a cancer trained nutritionist who understands the complexities of cancer care, treatment considerations and safe whole-body support can make a genuine difference to quality of life, treatment tolerance, confidence and wellbeing.

Specialist support matters.

There's a problem with treating supplements the same way that we treat long-term medications.

If the issue is still there when you stop taking something...the root cause hasn't been resolved.

Green pharmacy is great for support, but it's not a shortcut to good health.

Cancer care doesn't end when treatment stops.

Recovery is about supporting the whole body to rebuild strength, restore balance, and create an internal environment that supports long-term health and wellbeing.

I'm always talking about choosing supplements that can actually support you (and importantly, checking their safety alongside medications and treatment plans) - but with so many supplements on the market these days, it can be really hard to tell which ones are truly good quality.

I've broken down a few of the key considerations in this post...

Save it as a handy reference, and feel free to DM me with other supplement questions you'd like me to answer in future posts.

Finishing treatment doesn’t always mean feeling better.

For many people, the months that follow can feel just as challenging - physically and emotionally.

Fatigue, poor sleep, low mood, digestive issues…
things that are almost always brushed off as “normal”.

While they might be common, they’re a sign that your body needs support to build back strength and resilience.

And you DON'T have to settle for feeling like this.

I've been thinking about this message for a while. Not because it's surprising, but because I understand what can be involved in reaching this point, both physically and emotionally.

To be trusted in that process and to witness the shift in someone's health is something I never take lightly. I'm grateful to be in a position to support people through some of their toughest chapters.

If you’re struggling similarly and would find it helpful to talk things through, I offer a free 15 minute consultation to explore whether my support may be right for you.

You'll find the link in my bio.

One health problem can often lead to another.

What can feel like bad luck is usually just a sign that things in your body are more connected than you realise.

What starts off in one place can set off a chain reaction elsewhere, which is why nutrition support goes far beyond just food and looks at how your body functions as a whole.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by your health and want to know if nutrition support is right for you, you're welcome to get in touch and talk things through.

Drop me a DM, or head to the link in bio to book a free call.
