I was yearning to go paddleboarding again, but wanted some company so thought I would get out of my comfort zone and register for a 5 k timed aquapaddle. Beautiful morning in Sawbridgeworth and met some very friendly people. I was pretty slow ( I’m blaming my heavy board but you should never blame the equipment 🤔) . But I did it and have some tried shoulders to show for it and burned 450 calories in the process. I’m pleased I gave it a go.

Gluten free granola, kefir, Greek yoghurt, strawberries, blueberries, passion fruit, flax seeds and nuts with a side of black coffee and filtered water and creatinine. Let’s go!

Missing your normal breakfast at home doesn’t mean you can’t still make some healthy choices. You may just have to look a bit harder and Greek yoghurt is a perfect choice. The perfect protein start to stop you snacking. Never reach for a mid morning@biscuit again!

On , Park Run are excited to share new data showing that parkrun is helping NHS England save millions in the treatment of key health conditions, while also receiving strong public support as a socially prescribed activity 🙌

Some of their key findings include:
🌳 parkrun saves the NHS millions through preventative treatment of depression (£13.8m) and type 2 diabetes (£13.5m), as well as reducing GP and hospital visits (£9.2m)
🌳 Around 20% of parkrun participants were inactive when they first joined
🌳 70% of Britons support GPs socially prescribing parkrun to patients

I think park run is a fantastic example of what I advocate as a health coach - a lifestyle prescription. So here is a picture of me who started with a park run and even managed a half marathon once ! prescription

A glorious day to take a step towards my 2026 goal of doing a headstand with ease at yoga. Thanks to .mali.studio for your patience and teaching me to use my core and be light ! I’ll keep practicing 😃
