🍦☀️ What a lovely way to enjoy the sunshine! Today, our residents and staff were treated to a visit from the ice cream man, and there were plenty of smiles all around as everyone tucked into a classic 99.

It was wonderful to see everyone relaxing in the sun, and making the most of the beautiful weather with a delicious ice cream in hand. Sometimes it’s the simple pleasures that bring the biggest smiles! 🍦💛

Another busy and fun-filled week here at Park House! 💙

We’ve had a fantastic week packed with smiles, laughter, and plenty of activities. A big thank you to Sienna, who joined us to lead a brilliant exercise class. Residents were treated to some relaxing pampering sessions, and we spent quality time with our residents in the garden. 🌼

Our new garden furniture has certainly been put to good use! Residents enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine, relaxing with a refreshing beer as we got into the spirit and prepared to cheer on England in their matches. 🍺⚽☀️

It’s been wonderful to see everyone enjoying the fresh air, keeping active, and making the most of the lovely weather. Here’s to another great week at Park House! ❤️

🍫🍸🎾 Last Week at Park House 🎾🍸🍫

What a fantastic week we’ve had at Park House!
We celebrated National Chocolate Day with a delicious chocolate tasting session, where residents enjoyed sampling a variety of sweet treats. 🍫
Our Thirsty Thursday cocktails were a huge success and certainly went down a treat! There were plenty of smiles, laughter and cheers as everyone enjoyed a refreshing drink together. 🍹
To round off the week, we embraced the spirit of Wimbledon with a lovely afternoon of gin, fresh strawberries, ice cream and a delicious flowing chocolate fountain for everyone to enjoy – the perfect combination for a summer’s day! 🍓🍦🍫🎾
We’re looking forward to another fun-filled week ahead, with lots of exciting activities planned – including cheering on England in the World Cup semi-final! ⚽🏆

What a fantastic week we’ve had at Park House! 🌟

We’ve enjoyed catching up with the daily news and sporting highlights, keeping everyone up to date with what’s happening in the world.

We were also delighted to welcome back our furry friend, Poppet the therapy dog 🐾. As always, there were plenty of smiles, cuddles, and wagging tails, bringing comfort and happiness to our residents.

The competitive spirit came alive during our very own penalty shoot-out! ⚽ Edison took his role as goalkeeper incredibly seriously, but our residents were on top form and scored some fantastic goals. There was lots of laughter, cheering, and great teamwork throughout.

To round off the week, we were treated to wonderful entertainment from the talented Debbie Miles, who had everyone singing along, clapping, and enjoying the music. 🎶

Thank you to everyone who helped make this another memorable week at Park House. We can’t wait to see what next week has in store! 💙

What a wonderful week we’ve had here at Park House Nursing Home! ❤️

On Monday, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful Caroline, who brought plenty of smiles and positivity with her fantastic Laughter Yoga session. 😊🧘‍♀️

Wednesday saw the fabulous Amy the hairdresser working her magic, helping our residents look and feel their very best. 💇‍♀️✨

And today, we ended the week on a high with the magnificent Kim the entertainer, who had everyone singing along, clapping, and enjoying themselves. 🎤🎶💃

A huge thank you to Caroline, Amy, and Kim for bringing so much joy and happiness to our residents this week. We truly appreciate all that you do! ❤️

🐟🍟 Last Friday, we celebrated National Fish and Chip Day, and what a wonderful day it was!

Our residents and staff came together to enjoy this much-loved British classic, sharing plenty of smiles, laughter, and great conversation along the way. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying a delicious meal and spending quality time together.

A big thank you to Mortimer's Place for providing us with the lovely food, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Your support helped make the day extra special!

A big thank you to Joe for all his hard work today! He was busy helping us in the garden, assembling our new garden furniture, and we couldn’t have done it without him.
He even found time to give the plants a good water.

Everything is coming together nicely, and we can’t wait to spend more time outside enjoying our new setup. 🌿☀️🪑

What a wonderful time we had at Park House when Debbie Miles came to visit and sing for our residents!

There was plenty of singing along, dancing, and smiling as everyone enjoyed Debbie’s fantastic performance. Our residents had a great boogie and loved every minute of the music and entertainment.

We were delighted to welcome Stuart Anderson MP to Park House Nursing Home recently.

During his visit, Stuart spent time meeting our residents and dedicated team, gaining a first-hand insight into the compassionate, person-centred care we provide for people living with dementia and complex health needs.

We were pleased to discuss the vital role Park House plays in supporting 40 elderly residents, many with high levels of care needs, and to share some of the challenges and opportunities facing the social care sector today.

The visit also provided an opportunity to talk about the ongoing review of Health and Social Care services in South Shropshire and the importance of ensuring that the voices of frontline care providers are heard throughout the process.

Thank you, Stuart, for taking the time to visit us and for your interest in the work our team does every day. We are incredibly proud of our staff, whose dedication, compassion and professionalism make a real difference to the lives of our residents and their families.

On the menu was delicious fish, sausage, pies, chips, and crispy onion rings – a real treat that brought smiles all around!
