Big news from Angel by Shine 🎉
Today, Abbey House, Arden House and Glenmuir House have all gone live with mCare — a digital care planning system that replaces paper care plans and daily records with real-time digital ones.
In practice, that means care staff log everything on handheld devices as it happens, right there in the moment with the resident. It gives our teams more time doing what actually matters — sitting with someone, having a chat, noticing the small things — instead of catching up on notes later. And because every bit of care is captured as it's given, we've now got real, evidenced proof of the great care happening in our homes every single day, not just a write-up of it afterwards.
It's a big step forward for all three homes, and one more way we're investing in giving our teams the tools to do what they do best — provide great, person-centred care.
