The other day we were delighted by The Dot Collective performing the catch of the day for us.
We had previously welcomed them for a workshop sharing ideas for a story about a day at the beach which they then turned into this hilarious show.
They even let us have turns swinging in their hammock too.
What a brilliant afternoon full of fun, laughter and bringing back memories of picnics by the sea.

Our lovely volunteer Ann does so much to support us at southlands, We wanted to show her some support too so we went to watch her play with the Battle ukulele group B.U.G's in Battle the other day.
It was a lovely afternoon with a great musical performance by B.U.G's as always and some lovely jive dancers to.
We were welcomed with VIP treatment.
And of course we couldn't walk past the fish and chip shop without popping in for some chips to finish off a lovely afternoon.

🌟 WE DID IT — SOUTHLANDS HAS REACHED DUNNET HEAD! 🌟Today’s the day!
With everyone’s collective miles walked, run and ridden, we’ve officially made it all the way — figuratively — to Dunnet Head, Scotland.
And what a finish…
After gathering the whole team’s steps today, we clocked an incredible 145 miles. Then, with one staff member heading out for a run tonight and another cycling her miles, we pushed ourselves over the 149.9 miles needed to reach our destination.

We have been very busy getting ready for our Summer Fete on Saturday 1st August.
Come along to our seaside theme fete from 2pm. Entertainment, face painting, a visit from the lovely rosie the pony, games, stalls, tombola, raffle, food and drink, even a speacil performance from us the southlands singers 😁 an afternoon of fun in the sun 🌤.

Our Southlands Place Summer Raffle is officially underway!
