A huge thank you to Rosie the Little Grey Pony for visiting Abbey House and bringing so many smiles to our residents today! 🐴💖

Everyone had such a wonderful time spending the hour with Rosie ,from feeding her carrots and tasty treats to giving her lots of pampering and attention. It was a lovely afternoon filled with laughter, cuddles, and special memories for all involved.

Thank you for making our day so special, Rosie! We can’t wait to see you again soon. 🥕✨

Massive thank you to Awesome Alfie's Ice Cream for coming to Abbey House and helping us all cool down in the hot weather with delicious ice cream — it was enjoyed by everyone! 🍦☀️

We finished off the hot day with a lovely BBQ in the garden, making some wonderful memories together. 🌭🍔🌿

Abbey House residents had a fantastic session with Liz today! 🎶🥁 We enjoyed lots of singing and drumming, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter to everyone involved.

We’ve also been busy celebrating V Day, playing bingo, getting creative with arts and crafts, and enjoying a lovely outing for dinner. It’s been a wonderful time full of fun, friendship, and great memories! ❤️

A huge congratulations to our Senior Carer Patrick on successfully completing his Infection Control Course and becoming Abbey House’s Infection Control Champion 👏🎉

Today, Patrick attended the awards ceremony alongside our Deputy Manager Jas to celebrate this fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud of his dedication, hard work, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and safety for our residents and team.

Managers Lou and Ali, along with Deputy Managers Jas and Jess attended the Care Show at the ExCeL in London the past two days

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to explore the latest innovations, best practices, and developments within the care sector. They were able to connect with industry professionals, attend insightful seminars, and gather new ideas to help continue improving the quality of care and support we provide.

From new technologies to person-centred care approaches, the team came away feeling inspired and motivated, bringing back valuable knowledge and fresh perspectives that will benefit both our staff and the people we support.

A great two days of learning, networking, and professional development!

We would like to share that, from 12th March, there has been a change in management at Angel Healthcare.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jenny Miles for her dedication and hard work over the years. Jenny has played an important role in shaping the service, and we wish her all the very best for the future. We remain committed to continuing her vision with the same respect and care.

Angel Healthcare will continue to operate with the same ethos and values that are already in place; providing safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

At the same time, we are taking this opportunity to build on the strong foundations of the service. We will be introducing a number of enhancements across our homes, including strengthening the day-to-day environment, increasing activities and continuing to improve the overall experience for residents.

We have also engaged additional external support to help us further develop the service at Arden House as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

Over the coming months, we will be making a series of planned enhancements to our environments across all three homes. These will be introduced in a staged and carefully managed way to ensure minimal disruption to residents.

We would like to thank our staff, residents and families for their continued support. We look forward to working together to continue delivering and enhancing the quality of care across Angel Healthcare.
