Residents enjoyed making and tasting delicious banana splits 🍌🍨

For some residents, it was their very first time trying a banana split, and it was wonderful to see how much they enjoyed this tasty treat. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and happy faces as everyone created their own desserts and tucked in. A sweet afternoon enjoyed by all! 💛

🌺🌴 Aloha from Hawaii! 🌴🌺
Today our residents enjoyed a wonderful armchair journey to the beautiful islands of Hawaii! 🌊🎶 We listened to traditional Hawaiian music, sipped refreshing lemonade served with little umbrellas, and enjoyed a delicious fruit platter filled with tropical favourites. 🍍🍉🍊

Everyone embraced the Hawaiian spirit by dressing in hula skirts, flower garlands, and fun tropical-themed glasses, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter to the day. 🌺😎
To add to the fun, we also played a lively game of Cactus Hoopla, which brought out plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and great teamwork! 🌵🎯

It was a fantastic afternoon of music, games, friendship, and tropical fun—bringing a little taste of paradise into our home. 🌞🌈

🐾 Paws at the Ready – Our Doggy Competition Results! 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who shared photos of your beautiful fur babies. We absolutely loved seeing them all, and our residents had the very important job of judging the competition. It certainly wasn't an easy decision!

Our residents saddled up and took a trip to the Wild West for a fantastic day of country fun!

We were thrilled to have the amazing Rockin' Mike entertain us with classic country hits, getting everyone singing along and tapping their toes. 🎶🎸

The celebrations also included a delicious ploughman's, plenty of Western dress-up, and a fun game of horseshoe toss, which brought lots of smiles and laughter.

A wonderful time was had by all—full of music, great food, friendship, and a little bit of cowboy spirit! 🤠🐴❤️

Today our some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to our local church, St Mark's, where they joined the Ark Cafe coffee morning. ☕💙

It was a lovely morning filled with friendly chats, shared memories, and life stories, all enjoyed over a cup of tea and biscuits. These moments of connections in community are so special, and it was wonderful to see so many smiles and laughter.

✨ What a magical afternoon at Ashridge! 🎩🪄
We were delighted to welcome Marco the Magician, who wowed everyone with a fantastic mix of mind-blowing magic and well-loved songs. Residents, staff, and visitors all got involved, singing along, volunteering to help with the tricks, and sharing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.
