Congratulations to all those getting results past week or so! We have quite a few of our patients who have taken exams this year, some of you who have been coming since you were very little.

We are very proud of you all, even if we will forever be surprised when you arrive and you are no longer 6 to 8 years old!

If things didn’t work out as planned, this is your yearly reminder that we are still proud of you for showing up, and trying, doing your best.

We know a lot of you have different ways of learning to the traditional ones, and it makes things hard sometimes. Remember exams can be retaken, career ideas can be changed, there is always another way forward. Be gentle with yourselves.

Well done also to those who had their first year at ‘Big School’ or made it through a difficult year.

If you're planning to watch it, it's important to do so safely.

Looking directly at the sun can cause serious damage to your eyes. Ordinary sunglasses don't provide enough protection, and viewing the eclipse through binoculars, a camera, or a telescope still puts you at risk.

We are looking for a part time Dispensing Optician / Experienced Dispenser for our Independent practice in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Lots of time with patients, good quality frames and lenses. Doing the right thing for the patient biggest priority.

Up to 4 regular days, but if you need something different still contact, as we can be flexible.

We are just wanting to increase days open, so not looking for emergency locum but for regular days.
