💫Try for free for 7 days During a crazy period of working in the corporate world, running marathons and taking part in Ironman triathlons, I found yoga; a practice that totally transformed my life. I practised for several years bef

ore training and qualifying in 2014 and it was then that I left the corporate world, went travelling for six months and started teaching yoga full time. Since then, I have completed multiple advanced teacher trainings and have continued to develop my teaching skill and knowledge, training with world-renowned teachers in styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Pregnancy, Postnatal and Breathing. Having experienced the impact that yoga has had on my own wellbeing, my mission is to make yoga feel less intimidating and more accessible to everyone, regardless of whether or not they can touch their toes, so that the benefits of yoga can be felt by all. I launched my on-demand class platform and app in 2020 and I now teach through a combination of live and on-demand classes and courses. I know that yoga works best when done regularly and consistently, so I help people to become confident and skillful at doing yoga so that they can make it part of their everyday life in a way that works for them.

70 can feel a long way away when you’re 45.

But I’ve seen enough, sometimes very close to home, to know that I don’t want to wait until my body is struggling before I decide it deserves my attention.

So these are 5 things I’m prioritising now:

1. Sleep.
Proper, good-quality sleep. Giving my body and brain the time they need for rest and recovery, and being much more conscious of when I go to bed, not just how long I sleep.

2. Movement.
Strength and mobility matter to me more with every passing year. If I’m starting to notice stiffness or aches now, I want to respond now, rather than wait until they’re limiting what I can do.

3. Balance.
I want to trust my body. To move confidently, stay steady on my feet and be able to get myself comfortably up and down from the floor for decades to come.

4. Nutrition.
I’m not a nutritionist, but I try to eat in a way that supports the life I want to live, with plenty of protein, fibre and variety.

5. Connection.
To other people, but also to myself. Time to notice my own patterns. To be still. Slow down. Breathe. Hear myself think.

None of this feels particularly dramatic or groundbreaking.

And perhaps that’s the point.

I don’t want to wait for a wake-up call to start taking care of the person I’ll be twenty-five years from now.

She matters to me already.

“I’m feeling much stronger and so much better”

Celebrating Victoria’s progress in the 2 months that she’s been with me inside FWY.

She had already been doing some yoga before she joined me.

What changed was having a clear path to follow.

Yoga for Beginners gave her the foundations. Power & Ease is giving her somewhere to progress to next. And her practice is building on itself.

Imagine what could be different in your body 2 months from now xx

I’ve been teaching yoga for over 12 years, and online for over 6 years, and to me this has never been clearer.

You don’t need hundreds of yoga classes.

You need to know where to begin, and where you’re going next. A path to follow, and support along the way.

For many of my new members, that means starting with my Yoga for Beginners programme to build strong foundations, then moving onto Power & Ease, where every class builds on the last. Then, the daily live class replays.

Or dive straight into the daily live classes, 7am Mon-Fri or via replay at any time.

A clear path.
Thoughtful progression.
A body that keeps learning.
A practice you enjoy coming back to every day.

“My body doesn’t ache like it used to.”

And then,

“It’s just part of my daily routine now and a lovely start to my day.”

This is what I want yoga to become for women in midlife.

Something that makes your body feel so much better, you genuinely want to keep coming back to it.

Join me live at 7am Monday-Friday for 30 minutes, catch up on replay whenever suits you, or choose a shorter practice when time is tight.

Yoga that fits into your life - and helps your body feel better.

A little space to move, breathe and take care of your body.

And a lovely way to start the day 🧡

A programme feels different.
There’s repetition with purpose.
Progression built in.
Time for your body to learn, adapt and get stronger.

And gradually you notice it….
Less wobble in your balance.
More control in your transitions.
A foot stepping forward more easily from downward dog.
Less stiffness when you get out of bed.

One class can make you feel good. A practice with direction gives your body somewhere to go.

Most of my new members start with either:

➝ Yoga for Beginners programme if they are new to yoga, or
➝ 30-day Power & Ease programme if they are returning after a break, or
➝ Daily live classes every weekday morning for a consistent rhythm (live or via replay).

If you’re over doing random yoga and ready to start building a practice that progresses you, send me a DM xx

By the time you’ve thought about work, family, meals, holidays, appointments and everyone else’s needs, the last thing you need is another decision.

Yoga shouldn’t begin with: Which class should I do today?

That’s why I don’t just create classes. I create pathways.

- A live class every weekday - live or via replay - all you do is press play on today’s class

-Structured programmes targeting what your body needs

-DM contact with me for support

You simply keep moving forwards, feeling your body grow stronger, steadier and more confident along the way.

Sometimes the greatest gift isn’t having more choice. It’s having one clear path to follow.

“I have never enjoyed yoga like I am now.”

This message stayed with me.

Because it challenges the idea that getting older means accepting a body that feels stiffer, weaker or less capable.

Time and again, I watch midlife women discover that this chapter of life can be one where they feel stronger, steadier and more confident than they’ve felt in years.

Not by pushing harder.

By following a practice that meets them where they are and helps them keep moving forwards.

For years, I think we’ve been told the answer is more discipline.

But reading through messages from my members recently, I noticed something different.

Almost none of them talk about willpower.

Instead they say things like:
“I have never enjoyed yoga like I am now.”
“I look forward to every session.”
“It’s becoming one of the best parts of my day.”
“I actually don’t want it to end.”

That really made me stop and think.

Because perhaps consistency isn’t something we force.

Perhaps it grows naturally when we find a practice that feels good to come back to.

One that challenges us without overwhelming us.

One that helps us notice we’re getting stronger, steadier and more confident.

One where every class builds on the last, so we can feel ourselves progressing.

When you enjoy something, you stop asking yourself whether you should do it today.

You simply roll out your mat.

And I think that’s a much kinder, and ultimately much more sustainable, way to build a lifelong yoga practice.
