Itā€™s been a great week of viewings, and a real pleasure to show couples, friends and families around the venue againšŸ¤

Weā€™ve got a busy week ahead with the end of GCSEā€™s, a driving test, and my birthday (followed by my sons 4 days later) šŸ„³ but thereā€™s still opportunity to visit us should you be looking to explore options for an upcoming ceremony!

Weā€™ve had a very slow start to 2026.

Low iron wiped me out for months (hereā€™s my tiny violin šŸŽ») but Iā€™m on the up and although weā€™re not quite match fit (both the venue and I), weā€™re nearly there, with viewings opening next week šŸ„³ but itā€™s been frustratingly slow. Itā€™s consumed and tormented my mind most days, but there we are, sometimes life just doesnā€™t play ball.

But itā€™s not like the venue has sat empty, oh no! Itā€™s had multiple usesā€¦so to keep it real here they are.

1. A beautiful backdrop (and free bar) for the kids camping in half term!
2. A Christmas grotto. Yup. Thereā€™s still remnants of the festivities lurking.
3. Housing for my sonā€™s 17th birthday surprise šŸš— šŸ„³
4. A home gym. A totally unexpected use but one we couldnā€™t turn down or avoid whilst another home for the equipment is being constructed!
5. Sorting and storage for all the grotto decorations. Next year itā€™ll all be gone by the end of February, Iā€™ve made a promise to myself.
6. Gardening/camping storage.

Itā€™s 80% clear now. Currently my boyfriend is up in the beams removing the final fluffs of snow, staples and fairy lights šŸ«  and by the end of today itā€™s gonna be 90% empty. Exciting.

What this ā€œnon physicalā€ time has forced upon me is the time to work on a new trajectory for both the venue and I. Courses x 3 and a new websiteā€¦coming soon in conjunction with

Itā€™s been a long time coming.

Things are pivoting and it all feels very aligned, and I canā€™t wait to share it all with you soon.

But for now this is the truth bomb of how small business redirects and floors you some times. But in short, I think itā€™s all been for the greater good. Exciting times ahead šŸ’«

Now back to work before he chucks snow at my head and tells me to get off my phone and do some work šŸ˜‚šŸ«£šŸ˜˜

Itā€™s not looking like this right now, our Christmas grotto is still flooding the barn with colour and sparkle, but the desire to get back to this is strong!

Thereā€™s something about an empty space before itā€™s filled.

Before the chairs arrive.
Before the music, the words, the people.

Just wood, light, and the sense that something meaningful is about to happen.
