This tree is a useful tool to help focus on the positives in our lives. Making or drawing a tree can help with fine motor skills and helps with self-expression and increased self-esteem. For those that struggle with arty tasks then you can find some twigs and put them in a jar to use as a tree instead. This can be as simple or elaborate as you choose.

✨ Meet Maisie, our Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)! ✨

We’re delighted to introduce Maisie, who joined our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in October 2023. πŸ’š

As an EMHP, Maisie supports children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health across schools, working alongside parents, carers and school staff to provide valuable support.

Maisie works across both primary and secondary schools in Stoke. One of her favourite parts of the role is providing one-to-one support through L-CBT interventions and helping young people develop positive strategies to support their mental wellbeing. 🌱

Making a difference to the wellbeing of children and young people has always been a real passion for Maisie, and she loves the opportunity to visit schools regularly and work directly with young people and their families.

Outside of work, Maisie enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching films, trying new foods, and taking walks with her dog. 🐢🎬🍴

We’re so pleased to have Maisie as part of the team! πŸ’™
