💚 Learning and working, in a way that works for you

We loved Claire’s post because there are actually two things here that are really important to us at HTTA.

📝 Firstly, revision

We love seeing our students make their learning their own. We actively encourage them to write techniques, treatment routines and sequences down in **their own words** – using little prompts, abbreviations or descriptions that help *them* remember.

Revision looks different for everyone, and finding the method that makes things click for you can make such a difference.

☀️ But there’s something else in Claire’s post that we love too…

We encourage our tutors to work the hours that suit them and their families.

Taking time out during the school holidays was always one of my favourite ways of working when my own children were younger. Those weeks together are so precious, and you don't get them back. ❤️

Running a training academy doesn't just mean supporting our students to build careers and businesses that work around their lives – we want that flexibility for the people who work with us too.

Revision - as you know currently I am off with the kids during the summer. This time is very precious for me and I want to be able to make memories and prepare for a busy September! Just like many of our students.

This picture was taken during one of my training sessions with Holistic Therapies Training Academy the students make notes when they learn to help them revise and prepare in a way that is personal to them.

Revision is different for each of us, but take your time and do what works for you!

Yesterday at HTTA, Natalie was teaching Hand Reflexology – a wonderfully practical therapy that can be used as a treatment in its own right or alongside other holistic therapies. 🌿

Hand reflexology works with reflex points on the hands and is a fantastic skill to have in your therapy toolkit. It can be particularly useful when working on the feet isn’t suitable, practical, or preferred by the client.

Every new therapy you learn creates new opportunities.

One of my favourite things is seeing practitioners grow. Sometimes that's by learning Facial Skincare. Sometimes it's Massage, Aromatherapy, Reiki or another CPD course.

Every new skill gives you another way to help people improve their wellbeing.

And every qualification builds your confidence as a practitioner. 🌿

Learning doesn't stop when you qualify.

It's something that helps your business evolve throughout your career.
