Your Yoga with Jane 📞07917341045 Hi I am Jane & teach Yoga in Biggleswade. I’m truly blessed that I get to do this! I love to support people & their wellbeing.

Practicing Yoga eases my health-related issues, this took me to teaching because yoga is all types for all types! Hi, I am Jane 😊

I teach Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga at my mini studio in Biggleswade. I also teach at The Courtyard Wellbeing Centre in Biggleswade and at Henlow Grange in Henlow. I feel truly blessed that I get to do this! I love to support people to journey deeper within and tru

ly love and discover themselves that bit more which can also help everyday life. I first experienced yoga in my 20’s, but it was an awakening in my 40’s due to health-related issues that watered the then planted yoga seed in my 20’s. As my health improved, I wanted to share my learnings, so completed my 200-hr yoga teacher training. I like to remind myself that you can feel just as amazing, strong and energised in a restorative pose, as you can in a more dynamic pose. The important thing is to accept where you’re at and have trust in yourself x

Wet flannels chilling in the refrigerator ready for Your Yoga classes tomorrow.

Did you know that a cold flannel placed on the face, back of the neck or wrists not only cools the body temperature down!

Get more wellbeing with this simple ancient method, which also soothes the nervous system by triggering the mammalian dive reflex (an automatic survival response) & stimulates the Vagus Nerve. It sends a direct message to the brain to calm down.

A simple cold touch can quickly lower an elevated heart rate and calm a racing nervous system. Say goodbye to overheating, give your brain a break, and soothe your nervous system.

There are still spaces in class tomorrow and Saturday, DM 🙏

This weeks Your Yoga practices have been with a focus of continuing to navigate through an overwhelming summer.

Whilst summer can bring much fun and a change of routine, our energies can run low.

Wednesday and Fridays Restorative classes have been stimulating the Vagus nerve with a cool wet flannel placed upon our pulse areas, receiving the coolness but far beyond this, these strategic positions on the body add depth for dominance to the Vagus nerve sending calming messages to the rest and digest nerve (parasympathetic). Post class the students then shared;

- Will we be able to have hot towels in the winter”
- “I feel so relaxed”
- “Will definitely see you at next weeks class”
- “This was a beautiful experience”
- “I have such a peaceful feeling”

Monday, Friday and Saturdays (still to come) Hatha classes have been an opportunity to visualise, meditate standing and sensing the great outdoors, a connection to nature during a slow yet strong flow and paused poses.
post class the students then shared;

- “I feel so much more energised now”
- “I feel a lot more open and balanced”
- “I didn’t want the class to end”
- “That was a great experience”
- “The time went to quick”
- “Loved that”
- “I will defo be here next week”

Only you can make Your Yoga bespoke, you attend a suitable class, modifications and alternatives are offered leaving you to explore all options, listening to your body’s feedback with an open heart and mind.

Let yoga come to your aid - Join these classes next week.

Yoga for hot weather focuses on restorative, grounded postures and calming breathing techniques.

Instead of a heat-building practice opt for a gentle, cooling practice. Cool down your core temperature and regulate your nervous system with me next week. 🙏
