Sarcoma is a rare cancer that develops in connective tissue, muscle, fat, nerves or bone, and because it's so uncommon, awareness of its symptoms is often low. A recent Sarcoma UK report found that one in three people wait over six months for a diagnosis, even after seeking advice.

Most lumps won't turn out to be sarcoma, but if something is new, growing or not settling, it's always worth having it checked.

Did you know alcohol can make menopause symptoms feel worse?

A UK survey found one in three women drink more during perimenopause or menopause, often to try to ease symptoms like anxiety, poor sleep or hot flushes. But alcohol can actually make these more noticeable, not less.

Our latest article looks at why this happens, what the research says, and a few small, sustainable changes that can help.

If alcohol, hormones or poor sleep are affecting your quality of life, our female-led team is here to help.

This week is Men's Health Week (15–21 June) – one of the most important conversations we can have.

Many men put persistent fatigue, low mood or stress down to a busy life or simply getting older. But these symptoms can sometimes point to something more specific, and usually more treatable than you might think.

Our latest blog explores how hormonal and metabolic factors, including testosterone and thyroid health, could be behind the way you're feeling and why getting checked could make a real difference.

If there's a man in your life who keeps putting his health on the back burner, this one's worth sharing. πŸ‘‡

For millions of women, the symptoms have always been real. The name, it turns out, never quite was.

The hormonal condition affecting 1 in 8 women, PCOS, has been officially renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, or PMOS. It's a landmark change that better reflects the true complexity of the condition and could help more women finally get the diagnosis and support they deserve.

If you've been living with irregular periods, unexplained fatigue, low mood, weight changes or unwanted hair growth, our latest blog explains what this change means for you.

When did you last have a health check just for you? πŸ’™

It's easy to put your own health last, but midlife is exactly the time to pay attention. There's no routine NHS screening for ovarian cancer, breast screening doesn't start until 50, and conditions like thyroid dysfunction and heart disease are frequently missed in women.

Our latest article explains what a women's preventative health check covers – from breast and ovarian cancer screening to blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid function, and expert menopause care.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, a timely reminder that skin changes during midlife deserve a closer look.

As hormones shift during perimenopause and menopause, it's common to notice drier skin, new pigmentation patches, or conditions like melasma becoming more visible.

In our latest article, we look at why skin changes during midlife, what to watch out for, and when to book an assessment – including how hormone therapy can support skin health for some women.

This year, Bowel Cancer UK's Active April campaign is shining a spotlight on something many of us don't realise: almost a third of UK adults don't know that regular exercise can reduce the risk of developing bowel cancer by around 20%.

In our latest article, we cover the signs of bowel cancer to watch out for, why early diagnosis makes such a difference, and the practical steps you can take to reduce your risk.

We also explain how our private qFIT test can offer a simple, non-invasive way to check for early changes, complementing NHS screening – particularly for those under 50 who fall outside the standard programme.

This week is Nutrition & Hydration Week, an important moment to highlight how nutritional deficiencies are increasingly common in the UK.

Recent NHS data shows a growing number of hospital admissions linked to vitamin and iron deficiencies. Many people are unaware they have low levels of nutrients such as vitamin D, vitamin B12, iron or folate until symptoms like fatigue, brain fog or frequent illness start to appear.

Our latest article explains why deficiencies are becoming more common and how simple blood tests can help identify the cause and guide treatment.

Endometriosis is often associated with pelvic pain, but for many women the condition can affect far more than the pelvis. Fatigue, digestive issues, heavy periods, bladder symptoms, and fertility challenges are also commonly reported.

Studies have found that many women with endometriosis experience additional health conditions alongside the disease, highlighting the need for comprehensive care and ongoing support.

Our latest article explores the broader picture of endometriosis symptoms and why recognising these patterns can help women access the right support sooner.
