I’ve lost count of the times a pregnant mum to be or birthing partner has said to me,

‘Sorry if this is a stupid question but…’

And I promise you it NEVER is.

In fact most questions start the best conversations! Some questions just reconfirm to others in the room what they already knew - so, repetition, perfect 👍🏻 and sometimes it can lead to piece of mind about something that was causing concern.

The more we get used to questioning in pregnancy the more we tailor our care to what we want and what serves us.

The world is loud… and pregnancy can make it feel even louder 💜

Everyone has an opinion.
What you should do.
How birth will go.
What to expect.

It’s a lot.

But beneath all of that noise… there’s something powerful waiting for you.

Well first you’re probably pregnant!

You may be high risk or low risk or don’t care risk. This might be a 1st or 4th baby. You might be thinking of birthing at home or hospital, with a partner with your mum, none of those things really matters but…

…what I’m hoping for most is to find people who want to take an active part in their birth experience, someone who wants to have conversations about what they want and soak up all the lovely offerings we have at Babies in Waiting!

Hello from Babies in Waiting Leigh-on-Sea 👋💜

It’s been a little while since I properly introduced myself here, so I wanted to say hello to all the lovely new faces who have joined us recently.

At Babies in Waiting, I support expectant parents across Leigh-on-Sea and Westcliff through pregnancy and birth.

I offer:�

✨ A calm, positive space to ask questions, feel heard and build confidence

My classes are designed to help you and your partner feel informed, empowered and supported, whatever kind of birth or parenting journey you’re planning.

Pregnancy and new motherhood can feel overwhelming at times, especially when there’s so much information online. My aim is to create a warm local community where you can slow down, breathe, connect with your baby and meet other families nearby who are on the same journey.
