So earlier this evening Tony went and set up the gazebo ready for the biggest festival of the year.

However when I found out where we were pitched up I was so upset as I knew (from past experience) that we would get very little trade. We were placed completely out of the way of other stalls at the very end of the promenade where no one ventures.

No hate on the organisers whatsoever, they are all volunteers and it was an oversight.

So back we went at 9pm to pack up, move to a new spot and set up again.

Itā€™s going to be a late one tonight as we have yet to pack the stock up, eat and wind down. And they we will be up with the lark to go set the stall up.

Not really how I wanted to spend this evening ahead of a mental weekend BUT everything happens for a reason and life throws us curveballs!

See you all tomorrow and Sunday at Saltaire festival. Find us on the promenade in Roberts Park.

Iā€™ve noticed lately that my followers have been slowly dropping off, and if Iā€™m honest, it does make me a little sad.

I donā€™t know whether some of it is simply the usual social media thing, perhaps wholesalers I havenā€™t engaged back with, or accounts that followed for one reason and have now moved on or whether Iā€™m also losing people who genuinely enjoy the crystal content I share here.

Either way, I wanted to explain why things have gone a little quiet on my socials lately.

Iā€™ve been putting so much of my time, energy and attention into getting my new jewellery website, Rachel Hartley Atelier, properly off the ground. Itā€™s been a huge undertaking, and something Iā€™m incredibly proud of, but it has meant that Hart, Body & Soul hasnā€™t had quite as much of me recently.

I havenā€™t disappeared, and I certainly havenā€™t lost my love for crystals.

Iā€™ll be back here properly very soon, with lots of gorgeous crystals, new finds, crystal knowledge, unpacking and all the things that make Hart, Body & Soul what it is.

And if youā€™re still here, thank you. It genuinely means more than you probably realise. šŸ’™
