Soooo where do I begin. 4 years she’s been away. A year in Morocco, several months in Bordeaux, and more weeks than she cares to remember in wild Headingley 🙈 I know she’s mine and yes I’m biased but I’m very blessed too. If you look at all my ‘boasting parent’ posts over the years, from primary school to high school to University, one thing that I always comment on is that her work ethic is rivalled by none. There is no one who deserves this First Class honours in their degree, than The First Born. Oh and the distinction she achieved in spoken Arabic (a language she never knew 4 years ago). Tears have flowed since she got her results (but she wouldn’t allow me to post anything until she had her certificate 🙃) it’s killed me to not shout from the rooftops how incredibly proud of her I am. So the next chapter begins in September, in Paris, where she’ll be working. Ruby has laid incredible foundations for the rest of her life and I for one cannot wait to see how her journey unfolds. Today was a beautiful day. Far too many important people in her life that couldn’t have been there but I know each of them would have been thrilled at her achievements. 🤍🕊️ We love you millions Doo Doo 👩🏼‍🎓👸🏼🎓🖤
