🌈💜 Intergenerational Connections at Lezayre 💜🌈

This month we have loved welcoming the Happiness Heroes from Bedford Drive Primary School, who joined our residents for creative craft sessions filled with smiles, laughter and lovely conversations 🎨✨

We have also enjoyed special visits from families, spending quality time together through games, colouring and shared activities 🎲🖍️

These moments help to reduce loneliness, encourage communication, boost confidence and wellbeing, and create meaningful connections between generations 💜

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken part & we can’t wait to welcome our Happiness Heroes back in September when they return to school for more fun and memories! 🌸

Yesterday our residents painted some magnets to sell at the resident craft stall at our summer fair 🎨🫟💕
We also did some “conversation colouring” which involves colouring pages of familiar activities/hobbies with accompanying questions which spark conversation aswell as relaxing colouring in🥰

The countdown to our summer fair on the 8th of August is officially on! 🎪
📣We are looking for ANY donations, big or small, to be able to raffle off or feature on stalls on the day, all donations are greatly appreciated.📣
All money raised will go straight towards amazing activities and creating many more meaningful memories for our residents/families.
Our ethos “Bring it back to basics” means we heavily believe in the power of community and appreciating that if it wasn’t for the older generations we wouldn’t have the opportunities we do now! Let’s celebrate together…please pop along 2pm Saturday 8th August at our home CH42 4RB❤️

🐾 What an absolutely pawsome day we’ve had at our Puppy Pawty! 🐶💛

Lezayre was full of smiles, laughter, cuddles, and plenty of wagging tails as everyone enjoyed spending time with our four-legged friends. It was wonderful to see so much joy and happiness throughout the home, making special memories together.🎉❤️
