Flag Dancing Fun

Today we enjoyed a fun afternoon of flag dancing! 🎶🏳️

Residents had a great time waving their colourful material flags along to the music. It was a lovely way to get everyone moving, with plenty of smiles, laughter and gentle exercise.

A fantastic afternoon of music, movement and fun! 💃🕺🎵

Today we had a lovely surprise when a little red sports car came to visit Sellywood! 🚗❤️

We then enjoyed a relaxing afternoon watching a film together, with some delicious ice creams and ice lollies to keep us cool. A lovely, quiet afternoon enjoyed by all! 🍦🎬😊

Today we enjoyed a lovely cuppa and a good natter while looking through some poetry books and sharing some favourite poems and memories. We also made the most of the lovely weather, enjoying some fresh air and gentle walks outside.

This afternoon, we got creative with some arts and crafts. Residents enjoyed painting and decorating some lovely wooden animals and leaves, getting stuck in and adding their own personal touches. A relaxing and enjoyable afternoon was had by all. 🌿🎨☕

On Sunday, residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon playing a few games of Ludo and some favourite board games. There was plenty of friendly competition, laughter and conversation, followed by a relaxing cuppa and a biscuit.

Today

Today we had a lovely visit from Lucy. Residents enjoyed spending time chatting and catching up over a cuppa.

This afternoon, we had fun playing some games on our tablet, before getting creative in the kitchen and doing some baking. Residents enjoyed making delicious shortbread, filling the home with a wonderful smell! 🍪☕️

This morning, residents enjoyed some fun and relaxing 1-1 sessions, playing a few games on our tiny tablet. We also enjoyed a lovely chat and a cuppa while listening to some favourite tunes on Alexa.
We also had a visit from Lucy.☕🎶

This afternoon, we celebrated National Beer Day with a fun beer-tasting session, sampling some fine beers together. 🍺 Residents enjoyed a relaxed and sociable afternoon, with plenty of laughter, singing and a good old singalong to some favourite traditional pub songs. 🎶🍻

This morning, residents enjoyed individual 1-to-1 sessions using our new Tiny Tablet. We had a lovely chat over a cuppa while listening to some of our favourite tunes, creating a relaxed and enjoyable start to the day.

This afternoon, everyone got creative as we worked on crafts for our Summer Fête on 22nd August. Residents thoroughly enjoyed making decorations and helping to prepare for the big day. We finished the afternoon with a wonderful sing-along, filling the home with music, smiles, and plenty of happy memories.

Today has been another lovely day at Sellywood House. ❤️

Our residents enjoyed some one-to-one time using our Tiny Tablet, playing interactive games that brought lots of smiles, laughter, and friendly conversation.

This afternoon, we all came together for a few fun games of bingo, followed by listening to some favourite tunes, having a good chat, and enjoying each other’s company. It’s the simple moments like these that make our days so special and help create a happy, homely atmosphere for everyone.
