What You'll Be Doing

As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our clients by providing compassionate care and support tailored to their individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
✔ Supporting mobility, transfers, and positioning
✔ Administering and monitoring PEG feeding in line with care plans and training
✔ Assisting with medication administration (where trained)
✔ Supporting nutrition, hydration, and meal preparation
✔ Offering companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
✔ Monitoring and reporting changes in health and wellbeing
✔ Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
✔ Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team
✔ Following safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures at all times

🎯 What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:
✅ At least 6 months' experience in domiciliary care, community care, or a similar healthcare setting
✅ Previous experience supporting clients with PEG feeding
✅ Strong understanding of person-centered care principles
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Right to work in the UK
✅ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred but not essential.
