Are you interested in research about multisensory environments in SEN settings and about the children who actually use them. These spaces are built for children, but the children themselves, especially those who are non-speaking or communicate differently, are almost never part of designing them. This researcher wants to help change that and involve them as genuine design partners. The first step is learning from the people who know these children best, and that includes Parents and Carers.
What you share will directly shape real design recommendations for making these spaces work better for these children.
