Care2Home Charity Fundraiser for Dementia UK 🙏

Care2Home is proud to be raising vital funds for Dementia UK on Friday 12th June.

Join us at our office for a day of delicious treats and community support. We’ll have a variety of items available to purchase, including drinks, cakes, biscuits, samosas, and much more!

By supporting this event, you’ll be helping Dementia UK expand the number of specialist nurses they provide - offering life-changing care and support to families who need it most.

Longer days, warmer evenings, and skies that seem to stretch a little further invite us to slow down and soak it all in. It’s the month of fresh starts, spontaneous plans, and golden sunsets that linger just a bit longer than usual.

We had a fantastic evening on Friday at the Sufi Night hosted by RJ Jyoti. The Care2Home team were all in attendance and truly enjoyed connecting with so many wonderful people, sharing more about the services we provide across Sandwell and the surrounding areas.

It was a beautiful night filled with music, delicious food, and incredible company.

🌞 Hot Weather Reminder 🌞

With the warmer weather here, it’s really important for everyone, especially our clients and carers to take extra care in the heat.

💧 Stay hydrated – drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty.

🧴 Keep cool – stay in shaded or cool areas where possible and avoid direct sun during peak hours.

👕 Dress appropriately – wear light, loose-fitting clothing.

🍽️ Eat light meals – avoid heavy foods in very hot weather.

👀 Look out for each other – check in on those who may be more vulnerable.

⚠️ Signs of dehydration or heat exhaustion can include dizziness, headaches, or feeling unwell - please act quickly and seek support if needed.

Let’s all take simple steps to stay safe and well during the hot weather.

Our care team will be ensuring every correct step is followed in ensuring our clients have enough fluids near them and are as a cool and comfortable as possible 🙏🏾
