What an incredible day we had on Saturday at our Hawaii-themed Summer Fayre!🌞🌺

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and made the day so special. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying everything our event had to offer.

From browsing our fantastic stalls and enjoying a delicious BBQ, to cooling off with the ice cream van, there was something for everyone! 🍔🌭🍦 We hope you all had as much fun as we did.

A massive thank you to all of our amazing stall holders, volunteers, Jade, staff, families, friends and everyone who helped organise the day. Your hard work and support made this event such a great success.

We’d also like to say a special thank you to our photographer for capturing so many wonderful memories throughout the day. We can’t wait to share more photos with you all! 📸

Events like these wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our local community, and we’re so grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere.

🌸 Flower Arranging Fun at Abbey Rose Care Home 🌸

This week, our residents enjoyed a wonderful flower arranging session filled with colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles. 💐 Everyone had the opportunity to create their own beautiful arrangements, choosing from a variety of fresh flowers and adding their own personal touch to each display.

It was lovely to see everyone chatting, sharing ideas, and taking pride in their finished creations. Activities like these not only brighten our home with beautiful flowers but also encourage creativity, conversation, and meaningful moments together.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the session so enjoyable. We can’t wait for our next flower arranging afternoon! 🌼💖

Last Thursday we were delighted to welcome Age UK to Abbey Rose Care Home for our Dementia Café.

It was a lovely afternoon bringing our residents together to enjoy conversation, activities, laughter and refreshments in a warm, friendly atmosphere. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to socialise, make new connections and create meaningful moments together.

Yesterday at Abbey Rose Care Home, we celebrated World Chocolate Day by making delicious chocolate crispy cakes!

Our residents had a fantastic time mixing, decorating and, of course, enjoying their tasty creations. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles and laughter.

Simple activities like this bring everyone together, encourage conversation and create wonderful memories.
