As we near the Summer Solstice/Litha (21st June) the time of water in the Avalon wheel of the year, the energies of water are rising (along with the rain in the U.K. 🌧️) of memory, of emotion and the subconscious.

So today I have pulled the Finnish Goddess Vellamo who is the powerful mother of water. She protected all sea creatures and ensured a good catch for fishermen but those who polluted the water or disturbed the nests of waterfowl would feel her wrath!
