A mahoosive congratulations to Luke Merrett - RunAustralia FINISHER.

Luke has been one of CYE’s early supporters and has properly embraced what we hoped these adventures could be.

It’s not another thing that has to take over your life - it sits alongside it.

Luke has run races of all different distances, trained, adventured and just kept doing his thang - while his RunAustralia challenge quietly ticked away in the background.

An activity here. A race there. Another few kilometres added.

Then our weekly update reminded him to…

“look how far you’ve come.”

For Luke, that little bit of personal accountability became part of the challenge too. Keep moving. Keep adding. Keep going.

And alongside the kilometres came our little 5-minute Headroom reads - a chance to think about things like your WHY, motivation, consistency and what actually keeps you moving when the initial enthusiasm has disappeared.

No single heroic effort got Luke across Australia.

Lots and lots of ordinary efforts did.

And now he’s only gone and finished the bloody thing 🙌🥳👏

Huge congratulations, Luke. We’ve loved having you along for the ride.

And judging by that arm… we’re pretty sure this won’t be your last adventure.

In fact, Luke’s already started our next challenge - and it’s a doozy too.

We’ll share more about that one shortly.

Could you be next?

Our third Chase Your Extraordinary Podcast episode lands this Saturday 22nd August.

And this time, we’re talking to the brilliant Sam Douglas 💥🥰

Sam has run every day for more than 1,650 days, climbed Kilimanjaro and crossed 209 miles of Iceland.

But this conversation begins somewhere much more ordinary…

With a woman who hated sport and once thought she would never run more than three miles.

What followed wasn’t one enormous decision or a grand master plan.

She simply kept showing up.

We talk about consistency, fitting adventure around everyday life, making the difficult days manageable and gradually discovering that you may be capable of far more than you think.

What does ‘Chase Your Extraordinary’ actually mean?

Extraordinary doesn’t have to mean running an ultramarathon.

It doesn’t have to mean smashing a PB, following the perfect training plan or being the fittest person in the room.

Sometimes it’s getting outside when you nearly didn’t.

Going for a walk at lunchtime.

Running your first kilometre.

Getting back to it after life got in the way.

We created Chase Your Extraordinary because we believe movement should be about more than performance.

It’s about finding something that gets you moving — and then finding a way to keep going.

Because the small things count.

And when you keep doing them, they can add up to something pretty extraordinary.

What does YOUR extraordinary look like?

IT’S LIVE - Episode 2 of the Chase Your Extraordinary Podcast, with the truly marvellous Mimi Anderson, is out now!

Mimi shares how running changed her perception of what was possible. It changed the way she saw herself.

Being strong became more important than being skinny.
Each challenge gave her more evidence of what she could cope with.
And when running was no longer available to her in the same way, she had to work out who she was without it.

And perhaps that’s the bit we love most:
Running was what Mimi did.
Resilient was who she was.

This conversation is about endurance,yes.

But it’s also about identity, confidence, adapting, learning, starting again, and discovering the strengths you have developed along the way.

Basically, all the wonderfully messy human stuff behind doing extraordinary things.

Episode 2 of the CYE podcast we’re in conversation with Mimi Anderson.

There are the extraordinary things Mimi has done…

Running through deserts, jungles and the Arctic.
Cycling through Europe, UK, USA
Taking on enormous distances.
Setting records.
Showing other women what might be possible.

And then there is the wonderfully human woman behind all of that.

The woman who has struggled.
Had terrible days.
Made mistakes.
Faced the heartbreak of stopping.
And had to find another way forward when running was no longer available to her in the same way.

Yes, this conversation is about Mimi’s world record endurance feats.

But it’s also about learning to value strength and what your body can do, adapting when life changes, and having the courage to take another small step - even when you’re not quite sure where it will lead… something we can all relate too.

Episode Two: Marvellous Mimi Anderson

Our second Chase Your Extraordinary Podcast episode lands this Friday 7th August.

And this time, we’re talking to the truly marvellous Mimi Anderson 💥🥰

Mimi is known for world records, huge distances and some of the toughest endurance challenges on the planet.

But this conversation begins somewhere much more ordinary…

With a woman who stepped onto a treadmill because she wanted thinner legs - and wasn’t entirely convinced she wouldn’t fall off the back.

What followed was quite extraordinary.

We talk about strength, difficult moments, starting again, learning as you go and discovering that you may be capable of far more than you imagined.

In conversation with… - What do their stories have in common?

Their journeys are all different.

But every conversation came back to the same idea...

Nobody started extraordinary.

They started with curiosity.

With doubt.

With tiny first steps.

With the courage to ask,

“I wonder if I can...”

And somewhere along the way, they discovered they were capable of more than they ever believed.

That’s what the Chase Your Extraordinary Podcast is all about.

Real conversations with ordinary people whose journeys remind us that confidence isn’t something you’re born with.

It’s something you build.

One experience.

One challenge.

One step at a time.

🎙️ Series One is coming soon.

And we can’t wait to share these stories with you.

❤️ What’s one thing you’ve always wondered if you could do?

Helping ordinary people discover they’re capable of extraordinary things.

11/07/2026

Our Chase Your Extraordinary members come from every level of fitness.

From complete beginners to world record holders.

From walkers to 5K runners to ultrarunners.

From people taking their very first steps to those chasing their next big adventure.

We’ve all been somewhere on the journey of discovering what movement means to us.

We’ve all started.

Restarted.

Felt unstoppable.

Felt stuck.

Faced obstacles that made us wonder if we’d ever get going again.

Because that’s life.

That’s exactly why CYE exists.

To meet you wherever you are today and walk alongside you to wherever you want to go - however long it takes.

You don’t need to be an elite athlete.

You don’t need expensive kit.

You don’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

You don’t even need to believe you can do it yet.

You just need a reason to take the next step.

One step.

One day.

One extraordinary journey.

❤️ What’s one small thing you could do today that future you would thank you for?

01/07/2026

The hardest part of any challenge isn’t usually the distance.

It’s the late evening sessions that nobody sees.

The early morning starts when you don’t feel like moving.

The week when motivation has definitely left the building.

It’s the first session back after you’ve fallen out of routine.

Those are the moments that matter!

Because confidence isn’t built on finish lines.

It’s built every time you quietly keep a promise to yourself.

At Chase Your Extraordinary, we don’t believe movement has to look ‘instagram idealistic’ - what is that even?

Walking counts.
Five minutes counts.
Showing up counts.

Extraordinary isn’t about doing more than everyone else.

It’s about learning what you’re capable of - not compared to anyone else, but compared to yesterday’s version of you.

Wherever you’re starting today... You’re welcome here. ❤️
