Employment Group

Last week, we reviewed our sessions over the previous 3 months and what a lot has been achieved in that time!

A huge thanks to our guest speakers and guests who have given our members a real insight into paid employment from a local employers viewpoint, and also an apprentice and young adults who have progressed from an apprenticeship programme to a full time staff member.

All insights were very informative and we very much appreciate each individual over the past 12 weeks.

Crook Hall Visit

The walking group loved their walk last week around Crook Hall, Durham. This is a beautiful National Trust site full of beautiful gardens and history.

We were able to learn from Ann, one of the garden team about developing our own garden, especially composting as well as a greater understanding of the creation of each part of the extensive gardens.

The visit was arranged by Pearl from the National Trust and we really appreciated this great opportunity.

Thank You

Wellbeing Walkers

This week, we travelled to Durham for this week's walk, the group met at Harras Bank Family Hub, got the bus together, then walked from the bus station to Crook Hall, it was a very nice walk in a fabulous place.

If you're ever over in Durham, this is a walk we recommend :)
