It is our 1st Anniversary of opening the shop and all we can do is say "Thank You"...we have had such a brilliant time meeting so many wonderful people and we are so grateful for all of the support, kind messages and encouragement you have given us...

September is looking really busy at Belle's Place with lots of our regular workshops and events alongside some things that are new to us. We are very happy that L'atesha is bringing her Roots Method Pilates to Belle's Place, which is a Pilates and nervous system reset class.

It blends classical Pilates movement with breathwork and nervous system regulation, built on the philosophy “Mindset Shifts, From The Roots Up.” It’s not a typical fitness class chasing aesthetics. It’s a space for people to reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and rest.

She says “I love it because it’s never just about movement, it’s about coming home to your body, one breath at a time. Strength, stillness, and healing, all in one practice”

Belle's Place Holistic began as an aromatherapy and herbal stall on Bishop's Stortford market, the shop (whose first anniversary is this weekend) carries this on by stocking a good range of 100% pure and natural essential oIls and carrier oils along with our very own oil blends. We stock natural incense, pure and natural soaps, hand and body wash, body oils, fragrance oils, body butters, massage and bath oils and our very own home-made balms and room sprays. Added to that we also make our own aromatherapy salt scrubs, beard oils and wax melts. Belle is an aromatherapist and regularly makes exclusive and personal blends for people and businessess around the town. All of our candles are made from Soy Wax and are petroleum free and vegan friendly, most have wooden wicks and they are all very wonderfully packaged. Because we make so many things ourselves, we understand them and our customer service is both knowledgeable and extensive, we even have our own pet safe badge. We import some of our own oils to keep costs as low as possible and have a range of many other things too. We agree there is nothing quite like a lovely scent and you can find us in The Dells........

So we start our September workshops and events with something very special... balancing 7 chakras in 7 session. Charlotte has put together an extra special programme of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga focusing on balancing energies..... A year ago today it was also hot....and we were on day 3 of fitting out the shop......A whole year on we have just finished refitting the shop and getting ready for our 1st Anniversary weekend.......Thank you to everyone who has supported us not only over the last 12 months but also for the 3 years we have been on this journey.....we hope it continues for so much longer........

There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than working with these beautiful little babies

This week I’ve had the absolute pleasure of treating some gorgeous little ones, supporting them with issues associated with reflux, colic and tongue tie.

Paediatric Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body and can be particularly helpful when babies are holding tension following birth or are struggling with feeding, settling or digestive discomfort. Every baby is different, so treatments are always tailored to their individual needs.

And a little reminder that September is already starting to book up!
