Savasana can be one of the hardest parts of yoga when your mind just doesn’t stop.
But I don’t think the aim has to be switching your brain off.
It might be that those five or ten minutes are the only time in your day when you’re not checking your phone, completing a task, replying to someone or reacting to all the demands place on you.
You might still be thinking. You might get completely caught up in a thought. You might fidget, move, change position or open your eyes. That is totally ok!
That doesn’t mean you’ve failed at Savasana.
Sometimes having a few minutes where there’s simply nothing you need to do is enough.
And you don’t need ADHD to recognise that feeling.
