🙌The Eyesi Indirect Ophthalmoscope ROP Simulator was a real hit at the Paediatric Ophthalmology Regional Teaching Session in Bournemouth recently.

Following the event, Andrzej Olechowski, Consultant Ophthalmologist at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, shared his feedback, describing the simulator as “a fantastic addition to the course that provided an invaluable hands-on learning experience.”

He added: “It generated a great deal of enthusiasm from the trainees, and many commented on how realistic, engaging, and educational the simulation was. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the programme. The trainees main feedback was that they would have liked more time with it, which is further evidence of how useful and valuable a training device it is.”

The Eyesi Indirect ROP is an advanced mixed reality simulator for training of retinal examinations on preterm infants, classification of retinopathy of prematurity, and practising laser therapy.
