✨🎬 The red carpet was officially rolled out for Meadowbrook's 2nd Birthday Celebrations! 🎬✨

Our residents, families, friends and team truly embraced the Old Hollywood theme, arriving in style and looking absolutely fabulous. From glamorous gowns and sparkling accessories to sharp suits and classic Hollywood elegance, everyone looked like a true star. ⭐️✨

Seeing so many smiles, laughter and everyone getting into the spirit of the day made the celebrations even more special. It was wonderful to watch our residents enjoying the glamour, posing for photos and making memories with their loved ones.

A huge thank you to everyone who dressed up and helped make our red carpet event such a spectacular success. Here's to many more wonderful celebrations together! ❤️🎉

🌟A massive thank you! 🌟

Wow! What an amazing afternoon we had yesterday celebrating 2 years of the Meadowbrook Community. It was an afternoon filled with laughter, smiles and making so many happy memories.

A special thank you to Sloen and the kitchen team for all the hard work you put into the afternoon. The food was wonderful! We had delicate canapes, so much cake and biscuits! Sloen your birthday cake was incredible!

Another special thank you has to go to Lucy and the events team for making the celebration possible. The hard work that went into this event truly does not go unnoticed. The hours put into the decorations with the residents and in the teams own time transformed the garden into the old Hollywood glitz and glamour era, especially with the walk of fame including all residents past and present.

Thank you to the bistro team who kept everyone hydrated with the bar. The bar was definitely busy yesterday! They also served all of the food and got involved in the entertainment as well!

This celebration really had the community feel Meadowbrook brings every day to our residents! Thank you to everyone who came along and celebrated our residents and staff with us!

We now have over 300 photos to go through! They are on their way! 📸

💚 The Big Green BBQ 💚

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting The Big Green BBQ here at Meadowbrook! We collaborated with Right at Home Stevenage, Bishop's Stortford & Braintree to raise money for Dementia Adventure.

We raised a wonderful £341!

We had a wonderful afternoon sharing great food and drink and listening to the wonderful Lisa Hammond -Singer! We all got stuck into a raffle as well with one of our Senior Carers Michael winning the top prize of £100 voucher for Pircio in Bishops Stortford! 💚

💂‍♀️ Buckingham Palace 💂‍♀️

Wow! What an experience we had yesterday! We had a tour of London before we arrived at the palace seeing the London Eye🎡, The Tower of London 🏰, Big Ben 🔔and many more sights. We then had a police es**rt to drive through the front gates of the Buckingham Palace! 👮

We got to see the State Rooms and the private gardens inside the palace. We weren't allowed to take any photo's inside or in the private gardens but everyone was beaming from ear to ear getting to see just how wonderful the palace really is. ✨

As one of our residents said 'King Charles was too busy doing the washing up to say hello, maybe next time!' 🤣

We enjoyed Windsor Vanilla Ice Cream🍦 before saying goodbye to Buckingham Palace and driving home. Until next time!

⚓️ Boat Trip ⚓️

This week Meadowbrook residents attended a very special outing. We went on a boat trip with Camboats of Cambridge along the River Cam.

Our residents enjoyed a picnic onboard whilst taking in the beautiful riverside views. We fed the ducks and swans as well!

Our residents said they had a wonderful time and really enjoyed being out on the water as it was so peaceful and relaxing.

We can’t wait for our next boat trip! ⚓️
