Looking for a wonderful way to spend your Friday afternoon while supporting a fantastic cause? Right at Home has partnered with Dementia Adventure to host The Big Green Picnic! We’re raising vital funds and awareness to support people living with dementia, and we are delighted to be hosted by our wonderful community partners at Middleshaw Hills Care Home residential care home.

Bring your family, friends, and picnic blankets for an afternoon packed with community spirit, fun, and entertainment! ✨

What's On:

👑 Special Guests: We are honored to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of the Ribble Valley, who will be joining us at 1:00 PM!

🎤 Entertainment: Fantastic musical entertainment provided by Steve Starkie from Modern Mobility, plus a special performance from Local Vocals!

🎟️ Fun & Games: Garden games, delicious food, interactive fun, and an exciting raffle draw with great prizes.

It was lovely to welcome some of our carers into the office today. Whether they were dropping in between visits, collecting supplies, or catching up with the office team, everyone had the chance to enjoy a little something from our Appreciation Station before heading into the weekend. 🍫🍹

These moments are always a great opportunity to connect with our team, have a catch-up, and recognise the dedication, compassion, and positivity they bring to their role every day. It's always a pleasure to see our carers, and we hope they enjoyed their well-deserved treats.

🎬🍿 What a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon! 🍿🎬

This July, our Golden Cinema guests enjoyed a fantastic screening of Rocketman 🎹🚀

With plenty of delicious treats, and wonderful company, it was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and nostalgia. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the film, with many singing along to Elton John's iconic songs and reminiscing about the music that has soundtracked so many special memories. 🎶😊

A huge thank you to our amazing venue partners – Middleshaw Hills Care Home, Waddington Village Club, and The Old Grammar School Community Centre, Whalley : 1725 - 2025 – for your continued support in helping us bring Golden Cinema to our local community. We couldn't do it without you! 🌟

✨ A FRESH New Space for Learning! ✨

This week, we were delighted to officially welcome our team into our newly refurbished training room for the very first time! 🎉

Over the past few weeks, the room has been completely transformed with a fresh new look, including new décor, carpet, desks, a large screen TV, and a profiling bed, creating a modern and comfortable space where our team can learn, grow, and develop their skills. 📚💡✏️🚀

We were pleased to welcome our newest carers for their induction training, alongside existing team members who attended refresher sessions. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to learn together, share experiences, and for our new starters to meet some of the wider Right at Home East Lancashire & Ribble Valley team. 💙

Investing in our people means investing in the quality of care we provide. We can't wait to create many more learning opportunities in our new training space!
