We're proud to share that our Brunch & Brew Café, organised by our fantastic Imaging team, raised £357.60 for our Charity of the Year, Pendleside Hospice.

This wonderful fundraiser brought colleagues together in support of a cause that's close to our hearts, helping Pendleside continue providing compassionate care to patients and their families across our local community.

At Beardwood Hospital, caring extends beyond our hospital walls. By working together, we're proud to support local charities, patients and those who need it most.

Another great afternoon spent with local primary care colleagues, this time at Ribblesdale PCN, where Consultant Oncologist Dr Parth Desai delivered an educational session on breast cancer.

Using real patient case studies, Dr Desai shared his approach to diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care, with plenty of discussion and thoughtful questions from GPs and the wider clinical team.

These sessions are a valuable way to share knowledge, encourage collaboration, and strengthen links between primary and secondary care.

We're looking forward to continuing this programme and delivering more consultant-led educational sessions for GP practices and Primary Care Networks across the region.
